curious why you didn't use the washers between each item. It keeps the tools and keys from marring up your handles and from marring up each other. Also, isn't the flat side of each key supposed to ride evenly down the flat side of the keybar so all keys can fit into the unit and not protrude?

That's a really good point on the spacers, I was trying to keep it as thin as possible, but they would have definitely helped. Also, I was never able to find proper install methods on orientation, so I did what worked best for me!

Late to the party here. Just order a Keybar today. Had a KeySmart for years and didn't like how the keys wouldn't quite fit in between the rails as symmetrically as I wanted. With the tightness issue you mentioned, couldn't you just use plummer's tape to lock it down a little better? I did that with my KeySmart and didn't really have issues with it unthreading.

Yes! You’re absolutely correct. I’ve also reviewed the keyport on my channel and I really liked that one. Thanks for the comments.

@@GearRules I saw that. Had never heard of them before. It looks interesting. I like the grittiness of the Keybar as far as the looks go. Trying out the vanilla aluminum version first and then will eventually add some tools.

Great question Ray. For my use case, I actually like the KeyPort more. Using and the ad on features were big wins over the KeyBar for me.
