I personally like these older 80s and early 90s keyboards because of their lofi sound. You did a brilliant job playing both the chord progressions and the melody especially with those small keys! The Yamaha PSS-790 actually came out in 1990 and was the successor to the PSS-680 which came out in 1988 but used FM synthesis for the sounds and only PCM/AWM samples for the drums. I believe the PSS-795 actually came out in 1991 or 1992. I actually have 2 PSS-790s, I bought the first one in February or March 2008 but one of the buttons stopped working which is why I bought another PSS-790 in early 2022. I did also get a rubber button repair kit so I might see if I can get the other PSS-790 working again in the future as I have some unfinished projects I did using the original PSS-790 ( I tend to do multi track recordings rather than use auto accompaniments ).

For me it's also a personal memory as I bought a PSS-790 in 1991. Unfortunately it had a defect many years later.
