Also question when you already have your sounds in the scene can you still add the keyboard switch group? Also can you do a piano and organ switch group and still control the draw bars?

This KBD SW Group is a good thing, but it would be even better if the sequencer could step through the various KBD SW Group settings set on the PAD buttons. Currently, if I create a Layer or Split setting and use KBD SW Group, it cannot automatically step the KBD SW Group programmed to the PAD buttons at different sections of the song, but the PAD buttons must always be switched. This is often confusing, because if you have to quickly switch from one PAD button to another in a song, and I play the keyboard with both hands, then there can be problems. Yamaha MODX was able to do this, just in a different way. There, the Performance settings had to be saved to the 8 Scene button, where I can even set sounds for the 16 MIDI channels belonging to the song. I used the same Performance for 8 Scenes, the only difference is that I switch the unnecessary MIDI channels to MUTE, and only those that I leave on will be active. If I have three Split variations, I always leave the one I use switched on, the others are in MUTE state. The songs are staged by Scene Chain and the settings are switched automatically. It's similar with Fantom, but there you can build a song from 8 Patterns, and you have to connect them section by section. If the sequencer could keep the KBD SW Group settings programmed for the PAD buttons in the Hold position, then everything would be perfect. I don't know why Roland hasn't solved this in a system update yet, even though it would be very practical.

Hi, I own Roland Fantom 06. I am looking for a feature where I need to change keyboard switch group via external midi controller.. It's difficult to reach out to right side with my left hand while playing in some scenarios.. Please guide me if you have tried it. Thanks!

I thinks External MIDI controllers cannot control Keyboard switch group.
