Does the spring on these switches feel "lazy" (as opposed to "snappy") to anyone else? I find the return to be delayed to what I would expect on them, it feels like the stem/cap is lagging behind on the upstroke.
@grsamael2 жыл бұрын
Yes i feel that too, they also feel heavier than Inks although their spring is rated lighter. It has been a very weird switch for me, but after using them for a week or so, i think i like them! They do tend to make a weird squeaky sound if you push them hard or just the right way, dont know whats with that but it feels like the top and bottom housing are rubbing to each other and make that noise...

I do not understand how your oil kings are so smooth, and loud! Mine are so muted and feel like an overly lubed scratchy switch! I had a similar experience with Quartz V2s being quite scratchy, and KS-9 Pro V2s, I wonder if I have bad luck with batch variance or I have a different perspective on smoothness? I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on KTT Strawberries
@keagan53792 жыл бұрын
Probably just bad luck like you said. Had a similar thing happen to me with a bad batch of vintage Mx blacks where it literally felt like the housing were made out of sandpaper and they were ridiculously muted. I was pretty surprised because I’ve harvested switches from many vintage cherry boards (many of which were filthy) and none of them felt that bad.
