2:51 Love this quote by Jeffrey: "And we recognize how hard what we are doing. We would say to you that what we are setting out to do follow somewhere between improbable and impossible. That just happens to be our home address. And we love that. Thats part of why we are doing this because it is."

The arrogance of these two is staggering. It is obvious they are not used to people disagreeing with them.

lots to discuss here. 1. new tech formed by people over the age of 60 meant for 25 - 35 years is kind of daunting. Its kind of like 60 year olds hosting a party for post grad, they don't really know what to serve or how to serve. Most people that are founders of new tech are creating something for their generation because they know what their friends want. No one is asking for quibi, this is just a way to save big hollywood execs who are failing to keep up with Netflix and KZbin. 2. Snapchat is also creating TV and News highlights and when those 13 - 16 year olds get older, the shows on snapchat will most likely grow with them. There is also IGTV which is still developing. KZbin and Facebook are also creating their own content. 3. There is so much premium content and even though these top show runners working with quibi are talented storytellers, I would argue that Shane Dawson is just as powerful and figured out how to bring stories to people without going to a big production studio. 4. I know that great content needs a lot of money and what not behind it, but the future is about user generated content, not small bites of content. These people might have been CEO's of companies, but they were not the founders. They are not answering to anyone's needs, they are basing it off of what they think can save big studios. I only hope that this will propel youtube forward. You can tell that Hollywood is scared when all of the biggest A-listers are starting their own youtube shows 5. Big hollywood is afraid of youtube and are scared to admit that youtube creators have way more clout than Chis Pratt or Lena Waithe.

24:28 He says this constantly... 6-7 years ago "all music was free" ... wtf is he talking about? There was never a legit service that let you play anything you wanted for free. There was piracy, and there was stuff like Pandora, but that didn't let you pick what was playing apart from the first track, maybe.

Katzenberg's language is off-putting and offensive. He's obviously not sensitive to a broad-view of objectionable language that would refrain from the use of expletives. Yes, this is the internet and I'm an adult, but the use of this kind of language is what we as a society find repulsive and inappropriate (for business leaders as well as world leaders). It's interesting that his language for Forbes' (and CNBC's) interview did not go in this juvenile direction (or maybe they just cut that portion out).
