@@keyorkimmigrationlaw i have a question. with regards to the refugee hearing , is the minister allowed to request information on the refugee claimant from the country he/she is seeking protection from? i know someone who's case was supposed to be this Friday but has been postponed because the minister is apparently asking the country for information on the claimant just to verify.

Hey i really enjoyed your videos and thank you but my case is I’ve lost my pr card almost 2years ago and I tried to apply but they sent it back and I was told that it never got to them so I’m trying to redo it w no mistake and also it has been expired but they told me that’s not a problem so my question is can I print out the form and handfill it all or it’s only the signature part my next question is Idk where I can find my *Client ID number* since I lost my pr card last question and my last question is can I travel with my pr card and my back home passport that’s expired because I wanted to renew it over there

Hello Masum Gazi. Yes. There are some mandatory documents and forms that you will be required to submit with your claim, which will be reviewed in totality. We also recommend being forth coming with the information as a gesture of good will.

Hello Zeeshawn, You can claim refuge if there is danger to your life which may include, torture, risk to life, or risk of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment. Claimants must make a claim in Canada. The process can take up to a year or more, and there are some government programs like the Resettlement Assistance Program to help, and often provide services during the first four to six weeks after arriving in Canada.

If the RPD determine that they is a leval of discrimination that amounts to persection, that there is no state protection or internal flight alternative, then a board member could approve. It depends on evidence and testimony.

The current system is unsustainable and requires a complete overhaul. Canadian taxpayers should not be funding the livelihoods of non-citizens. We must prioritize the needs of our own citizens and cease providing subsidies to those who are not legally entitled to them. The excessive costs associated with legal and consultancy services are a major contributing factor to this problem.
