I understand and never condone diving alone, but in my opinion this isn't "diving". I'm not doing "drops" or extended breath holds. Literally swimming around on the surface. Briefly swimming down to the bottom. I have no issue with swimming alone. I'm gonna pin this comment just incase someone is thinking the same thing. Thanks for tuning in 🙏

It's a concern for some of us older folk, accidents happen out of nowhere. We understand you are young n healthy but, please don't push your boundaries just for a video. Something to consider, if you will. Dig all your videos. Love the variety of settings. (Lol, I would not have believed your "fish story " had we not seen your jig. Lol)

I know myself, and my limitations as every individual should but that doesn't mean I'll go where Aaron goes and expect the same results. An individual must use their own head...you know, that melon three feet above their hiney, rump, butt, however you prefer to call it! Aaron isn't condoning diving alone, he's diving where he knows he'll be safe because of his professional experience.

15:25 I respect you for having that kind of respect for the fish. I love fishing and spear fishing but sometimes I find it hard to go out there and kill the fish. I just have to be in the right mood, some days I don't want to shoot anything and just enjoy the ocean yk? Also, with keeping pet fish I have realised they are so much smarter and personable than a thought and that changed how much compassion I had for them. But knowing that I am just taking what I need and that I am gonna eat the fish and get to share it with my family really helps make me not feel like I'm doing wrong. I appreciate you sharing your mindset with everyone and I hope more people become like you because not enough people have respect for the fish they kill. Also, love the videos man keep it up!

Wow! Seeing that fish you lost with the jig in mouth was awesome! I’m sure you’re thinking about getting a try at that one again. Very cool!!!

It's so cool that you were able to spot that same fish again! And thanks for teaching so much about how to responsibly harvest fish. Your tips for "brain-it, bleed-it, gut-it, and ice-it have been very helpful for me. I fish inshore SC and now that I'm properly handling speckled trout, I find everything to be much easier, cleaner, and of greater quality. 👍 Yes, I spend a bit more time dealing with each fish and it may cost me the opportunity to catch others, but I want to be respectful of the life that I take and it's definitely a quality over quantity thing for me. 😁

Happy New Year's. Always cool when I see you in the videos. In the 321 area. When you spear fished the 520 bridge in the Indian River. I was like 5 mins from you. Lol. Keep up the awesome videos .👊😎🤜. Mad respect for ya.

Glad to see you back at home.....sorry you missed your target, but nice job on the others. The big ones don't get big by accident. Just a selfish request.....maybe a couple of video clips of the fighter jets that compete for your microphone? I do love the frigates too! Incredible birds. As always thanks for the trip. Only 7 inches of fluffy snow yesterday!

Glad you enjoyed it! And it’s really hard to film them with my GoPros because they are zoomed out. They just look like little specs in the distance!

About a dozen years ago I was doing some winter fishing for Chain Pickerel from the kayak. I hooked a nice one but, like your snapper, was on too-light tackle and it took me into some branches. The line snapped and I swore a bit, not least because I worry about leaving tackle in a fish like that. I was back the next day, fishing the same downed tree, and hooked another nice one. Imagine my surprise when I got it to the boat and found my jig from the previous day in its mouth!

I always hate leaving tackle in a fish. But That is too cool!
