He also said Diddy pops pills bc he’s MGK’s boss(signed him) and Diddy is known for popping pills, not MGK. Also the “pop champagne to this” line is for the time when MGK went on instagram live and popped a champagne bottle when he saw that Eminem dissed him in the song “not alike”-he was excited to get the attention bc it made him more famous and earned him a lot of money. After this song, MGK stopped rapping and changed genres to punk rock bc his credibility in rap was ruined. He just recently started rapping again so no, there was no response from MGK to this.😂

Em can go there, but understands his audience and speaking only in metaphors doesn't have the same impact. Eminem would wash Aesop in a battle. Aesop does this because it's his niche and what makes him different, not because it makes him a better rapper... it's cool in a way but also a little obvious as a way to stand out as "different"... all rappers use metaphors, Aesop just takes it much farther. The average listener isn't nor has the time to break down every bar to try and appreciate the reference only his hipster niche audience want to do that and they still barely understand what the hell he's talking about. A HUGE number of people totally lacking talent of their own have made it to the top of the pop-rock charts over the years because they were assembled, imaged, managed, written-for and produced-by a label that simply throws money at promotion until they make it. Think Jedward, One Direction, Tekashi69, Milli Vanilli and The Monkees.
