I work at KFC and absolutely rock at it.it was my first job for two years . I've had many jobs since.for long periods and even paid more ,much more but couldn't manage a real life .and I went on a whim and went back .now KFC is my life lol But at KFC I get overtime that I want and is actually a decent living. Imagine with promotions or management ,I take charge and it just clicks and I love it. Im fast ,on point,persice and remember everything . Just need to remember prices without a monitor. and hope that if things keep escalating the way they are.KFC would become a serious asset to my life as they aknowlage that I am a asset to them

Nothing in the fast-food industry is a (career) unless you have a business degree and an office in the franchise's main headquarters. Otherwise, they use the term "career" as a "tactic term" to lure in potential employees. But really, its just another job. Careers are something you major in and study for, which is why they pay better.

A lot of these young people have foregone or passed up the opportunity to attend college that would have otherwise, lead them to a gainful career that requires not just use of their hands, but also (their minds).Why anyone would choose to go to work in a "chicken kitchen" to sell grease-meat to people for minimum wage or less for the rest of their life vs. a gainful career in anything from law and bio science, to engineering or business statistics is beyond understanding. Most of us know full well that college leads to much better options for earning $, than scraping gum from the underside of a table and emptying grease traps ever will.

I enrolled myself in a science degree program and ended up with a full-time career as a cultivation specialist in the cannabis industry, and am making way more than 50K. Try 75K on for size. And that was after only 90 days from when I started. How much you get out of life all depends on how much you put into it. People are going to get paid only so much to serve chicken n' chips and preform other remedial tasks compared to roles that require way more skill and thought process. -Just a fact.

Fast food restaurants are meant to be a "stepping stone occupation" mainly for high-schoolers to gain experience in work ethic, and learning the value of a dollar. It's a way to get a first car, save money toward college so you can move on to an actual career role. It's not supposed to be a job that you spend the rest of your life doing.

There are careers in fast food. Beyond management, there is so many lvls to advance without even working physically in the restaurant. One day I'm going to own my own franchise! I can't wait!

@@ahdyarahyasharahlael8243 I think that's a great idea. But you're not going to get there by mopping floors and asking people if they "want fries with that." You'll need to major in a businesss degree program in order to accomplish that. So start saving money toward investing in courses in business and accounting practices. Because those are going to be a very big requirement in owning any franchise. You're talking a lot of hard work and dedication.

I worked in a KFC years ago and got sacked after 5 weeks on the job because the manager thought that my attitude like banging, rolling eyes and having my phone out in public view was unacceptable plus one of the shift managers was very annoying like he would be in your face all the time which did my heading and was the main reason why I got sacked from there
