A very beautiful place . Best enjoyed by staying overnight with no contact with outside world . also the safari tour starts early at 6 in the morning when there is no tourist crowd from neighbouring periyar. Avery good and co operative staff. Worth visiting once.

its a beauriful place away from our bc life which keeps us in stress free life..we njoyed there in silent nature atmosphere.... its a hidden beauty of nature.. with thrill n trecking...kerala govt good in service...in my trip v r unlucky to c any animals..

Would be best after end of rainy season. Food is good. I visited in first week of March 2018. We could see Sambar only while boating.
