Simply beautiful, and a reflection of a truly beautiful human being.

I like how he put this. Living is the Greatest Art. Life is literally creation, and then we try to escape that creation by creating art that almost always is trying to capture aspects of Life. Its an odd idea. It's literally like trying to have a relationship with a picture of your girlfriend/boyfriend while the actual person is standing right in front of you. Perhaps the best art tries to show us how to truly appreciate and love life. The worst art is the egocentric "look at me" stuff that has emerged in more recent times, imo.

thank you Krishnamurti for your art of living. If you were here, I want to let you know that your artform has truly spoken to not just artists but all life. Thank you for your wisdom and the willingness to give so graciously.

A relationship that is not conflict, that's a flow of melodious manner of living together.

Artful living, melodious harmony. This dichotomous relative world likes to title everything while everyone is just a drop of water in this rapid flowing river of life. Being a high note or a sour one in this human orchestra is the real essence of living. T4P.

"The greatest art is the art of living" . Marvelous answer with words so profound that keep resonating inside me. And to think that we give masterpieces a dimension in our lives that they, even with all their magnificence, don't have! Thank you for this video.

..Ojai was not too far from LA, so I started my Celica engine and drove off and went to see my first K talk..something about him and the atmosphere there may be the people..may be the fragrance of orange blooms idk but soon I was sobbing uncontrollably while listening, I wasn't sad nor emotional over anything but something is overwhelming..something unknown..it touched your heart and soul..a couple nearby noticed and console me but those tears kept on streaming..i was no more sobbing.. at least my embarrassment is lessened..almost like the 'unknown' is presence enveloping one and all..such is the magnitude of his public talk if you are lucky enough to experience..🥲🌹😊

what a wonderful kind of human, 'I'd rather not sit on the platform, but I have too for conveniences sake, I'd rather sit on the floor' He did not want to be a 'teacher', but merely a pointer to that which is unknowable, though so clearly touchable.

4:30, What is this sequence? This is probably the worst Krishnamurti speech I've heard. Almost unwatchable.
@ykshay Жыл бұрын
Sequence? I'm not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate? I don't see how this speech is worst than any other speech I heard. My guess is you mean the words K used. The expressions used might come off as abstract, perhaps they clicked with me because I often focus on these aspects of life. I spend a great deal of time with art. Whether it be music or a painting, there is space which is used to create harmony. The space is filled with certain things in an arrangement, which is like a rythim of sorts a balance, a harmony. These words might fit music the most but they can be understood through any medium. Think of bpm in music, think of the proportions of human anatomy and the proportions of nature. The relation of shapes to eachother in a drawing. Space is necessary to represent depth. If all the possible available frequencies were used all at once in a song, with no space, then there would be little creative listening value in a song. It would be a constant stream of noise. Painting, gardening, sculpting, talking and singing all utilize space and depth, they all have harmony, negative and positive shapes. The pieces are set relative to eachother in an artistic arrangement. Another example would be a black and white drawing. Let's say white represents the space, you need it in order to bring attention to the black. If you didn't have the contrast between space and the arranged bits, all it would be is a blank canvas.
