Older gentleman I worked with (he was a rigger I was his electrical subcontractor) from Nashville went to Toledo Bend for a week every spring for crappie. Always came back with a load and had a huge fish fry for all of his hands and friends. Good memories. Thanks for sharing

I really envy folks who get to live such a nice life! That food looked better than any I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never observed anyone with your technique on catching crappie. I’ve been gong about everyday here in southern indiana. Had surgery on both feet back in November and I’m recovering still. I’m just starting to walk but good enough to pull up to the edge of the water and sit in my camping chair. I’ve never caught slabs like you did, just 8-9 inch. Thanks for sharing your fishing with all of us.

I have many, many stories of camping and fishing on Toledo but I won't bore you with them. I will just say we, my wife and I and some friends would go up there before there was anything, nothing there but water,, woods, and fish. In later years we would pull a camper and boat with my old truck connected together and catch fish. Thanks for the memories and your wonderful video. Have a great time Ken. Almost forgot the music. Love the music.
