Gussie's words: "Basically, the KG’s was kind of unique, and there was a story behind them, because KG was actually a Chinese electronics parts and service person in Kingston; he had a shop in Crossroads and he had a store in Halfway Tree. At that point, he was the biggest distributor of Jamaican records. So, I just said, “Let’s just name the band KG’s,” ’cause it was such a known name. He was the biggest seller of such records, so…"
