I haven't been out for two years. OMG.....In less than 15 minutes ....GOLD chain just under the grass. I was working the grass easement strip between the sidewalk and street. The area....homes built in 1920s. A hundred years of junk....hits everywhere....awe full. A hillbilly came out of his house a bitchin...."Dude....this is public property." He told me to move on. I did....and I just kept swinging. My guess he was watching me the entire time and he saw me find the chain in front of the property next door.

The button, I just found one if it's like mine it says Sanforized. Typically on clothing like work pants and likely from 1940+. I'm very new to dirt fishing, and found it an exciting find!

Looks like the ACE 350 has morphed into an AT PRO (In standard mode). Lack of VDI on the 350 was why I moved to the AT PRO. Looks like a great machine. Garrett makes them great.

King George and Ring Master! I just used my new Kellyco Garrett Ace 400 this morning. Must say the shaft from the control box to the arm cuff could be at least 2" longer - would make the detector a little more comfortable. Do you have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?🤔

I've been thinking about the Garrett ace 400. looks to be a very good machine. I'm currently using the whites coinmaster pro. it's a "ok" detector, it can find pennies like they are going out of style. but I have yet to find nickels dimes quarters and any silver. but I have found a lot of pennies, copper and brass pieces and 1 axe head.

Now that they have added the iron audio and the 0-99 Target I.D. numbers like they said it's basically a Garrett AT Pro in standard mode but to some degree. The only thing I am not entirely sure about is it's ability to completely quiet iron tones(and bottle caps) and just allow the high tones if you are hunting copper and silver. Standard mode on an AT Pro only gives you three tones with a low grunt for iron, a mid tone for foil, aluminum tabs and nickels, and a high bell tone for copper pennies, silver coins and jewelry. The old Ace 350 was a bit frustrating because bottle caps would give a high bell tone just like a copper penny or silver coin and with no target numbers on the old machine you would dig tons of bottle caps...not good. I upgraded to the AT Pro and it was a WAY better machine with the iron audio, better at blocking out the low iron signals and bottle caps and has multiple tones. The new Ace 400 still sees bottle caps as the same number as a penny or silver coin..not good. But at least with the iron audio now it will tell you that that 85 high tone signal is a bottle cap and not a coin. Now all these upgrades including the frequency adjustment make for a much better detector with the Ace 400. Especially good is that Target I.D. from 0-99 because with only 3 tones you need more info to figure out if you should dig or not. If you just dig everything then an Ace 350 is good enough. I would say that the ACE 400 with it's improvements should be enough to keep you from getting frustrated and quitting for quite awhile

Good video guys. Will the ACE 400 pick up gold nuggets? In Jewelry mode its picking up silver and gold Am I right? So can it pick up nuggets on dirt and/or water. Like a creek or river. Let me know cause I'm pretty sold on a Garrett. An thanks for the video.

It will pick up on any metal, so there's no reason it wouldn't also pick up gold or silver or what-have-you. In jewelry mode all it really does is try to ignore iron targets, everything else, regardless of what metal it actually is, should still be picked up just fine.

However the ACE 400 being a good unit, I did some research and I felt I needed more umph so I had to bump up on the Khtz for more depth. Still sticking to Garrett so I ordered from Kellyco an AT Gold. Just making sure those nuggets don't escape me. Love the video guys. Wish I had a cold brewsky with the boys. Happy hunting.

Stuart Brown Aussies certainly know how to act up, and I personally love it because it's genuine. The Great Britain area is great for their sense of humor, such as Deep Digger Dan. Nope, not jealous whatsoever. If they truly were "light hearted actions," that'd be great. These are fake, deliberate cheerleading reactions to make metal detecting seem exciting and to sell product. Most videos are boring, although my preference is Digger Dan on KZbin as he has a better personality than most. If watching fake stuff like Diggers is your thing, have at it. Top Gear was my favorite show, even though I knew the whole thing was scripted. But these two guys aren't good enough actors to make it seem genuine.
