@@ONBLASTWITHMG Hi Mike, Just got back from a short detecting outing. Only came up with 56 cents and a Lords prayer stainless steel ring. Use my 17 year old Whites MXT. Will receive my new Garrett Ace 400 on Friday. Sure looking forward to working with it. Was sad to learn that Whites has gone out of business 😭. Happy detecting and best wishes from Susanville, Ca.

Yes it was! I need to continue to plan ahead to detect in areas that have high traffic. Live and learn. Still need to find something of real value though....Whats the best thing you've ever detected?

@@ONBLASTWITHMG I would say best thing is a British cavalry badge dating to 1798. The unit fought in India and then came to Canada for the War Of 1812. I found it in an old pasture.

Thats a historic find. Would love to find something like that. We have a lot of history with the american indian and the west around here. I should probably detect pastures. How deep was yours?
