22 & Beyond: Celebrating Caitlin Clark's career as Iowa retires her jersey

The Iowa Hawkeyes are retiring Caitlin Clark's jersey Sunday after the Hawks take on fourth-ranked USC.
22 & Beyond is an Iowa on the Hawks Pregame Special to get you ready for the game, while looking back at the historic career of Caitlin Clark in the black and gold.
The program features one-on-one interviews with Iowa Athletics Director Beth Goetz, former Hawkeye head coach Lisa Bluder, a look back at all the top records Clark shattered at Iowa, reliving her historic night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena when she broke the scoring record, and a look at the impactful freshman on the current squad and how they plan to keep the program's high standards.
The special program airs at 6:30 p.m. Friday, January 31 on CBS2 and before Fox pregame coverage begins Sunday, February 2 at 11:30 a.m. You will also be able to watch it online below Friday evening.

@@adamvink117 I'm well aware that the Iowa Hawkeyes and Nebraska Cornhuskers have developed rabid fan bases for multiple sports, setting attendance records and making life very comfortable for their star college athletes. Part of that is due to lack of competition from professional teams, and partly because there are not a lot of other exciting entertainment alternatives in Iowa relative to the distractions available in SoCal. I only hope the game lives up to the hype.

It was God's edict that Caitlin Clark went to Iowa. She was all ready to go to Notre Dame. This would have been Muffet McGraw's interview, if she had just chosen Notre Dame. I stopped following Iowa women's basketball once they lost the third game this season.And there's still UCLA and USC to come. Juju Watkins is going to torch Iowa.

IOWA really should've put Caitlin's FOOTPRINTS at the spot where she broke the record. Itwould have conveyed the feat more. Made it more real. And others could have tried to spot up from there more visibly.
