I feel like the lyrics are mudded together and the lack of breaks and pauses makes it hard to distinguish the end of the verse and the chorus and overall makes the lyrics so much less memorable. The beat is phenomenal tho. Most good songs have a simplistic memorable chorus and one liners that the listener should be able to recite by the end of the song. At the end of this, I couldn’t remember anything except “money on my mind” which in its own is so overused in modern generic rap that you can’t pinpoint a song simply from that line and the only reason I remember that line is because how overused it is. The transition from the singer to lyricist was pretty smooth tho even without a break between. All in all, the beat can only take the song but so far. Love from Cali 🤙
