US is a weapon manufacturer country. And every one can buy a gun from the shop near. In India, tho have a gun, you need to have a lot of permission and licence and are hard to get. For cops, even those with gun need to have permission from higher police officers (from above a certain rank) or district administrator to shoot a single bullet. Shooting club are rare and expensive. So to kill ar attack need to find cheep alternate like wooden stick, stone, iron rod or knife.
