Lovely car. I was tempted when it was originally advertised a few months ago and was surprised to see it back so quickly. Like you have been watching KGF adverts for years and good to see a video from a purchaser to show that the cars are as good as described. Enjoy.

Top Notch, you did well pal, I really love the Volvo's of that era, especially love the seats, its like sitting on a comfy sofa at home, pure luxury, The car is stunning, I can see why you let the Clio go, this car could last the rest of your life with the care you give cars. KGF, I often see cars I like at their location, This car ticks all the boxes, love the automatic too, the previous owner was like yourself so how could you pass it up, attention to details when caring for a car means such a lot, I'm sure the original owner would be happy that the car is now in yours, Cheers...

Thanks. That’s very good of you to suggest the previous owner would be happy. I do plan on taking care of it and won’t be doing any modifications. Just maintenance and fixing little bits to try and get as near to new condition as I can. She will be driven though. Already done a 110 mile round trip visiting friends and will be doing a run from Derbyshire to Bristol so the miles will climb albeit relatively. Won’t be reaching 6 figures. At least not during my ownership.

Well I finally got to watch the reveal video, albeit a few days later than I anticipated. I have to say I’m very envious. Having watched the KGF video of the Volvo it was apparent that the car was in lovely condition. However your video just shows how amazing this car is considering it’s 26 years old,as you say it’s more like a 6 month old car. I’ve worked at main dealerships and seen 1-2 year old cars in far worse condition. It really is in amazing condition. You almost caught me out at the end of the video when you mentioned modifications, glad you were joking. Having said that perhaps some period alloy wheels would complement the cars existing spec such as the leather upholstery. That would be the only possible modification I would consider making. Look forward to seeing more of this car in future videos.

Thanks. Yes the car is in great condition when you consider the age. There are marks of course but they amount to nothing more than a small number of stone chips on the bonnet, one on the NS front door as shown in the video and a slight scratch on the NS mirror casing. Plan is to sort the ‘shrinkage’ on the OS door cards. New replica dealer plates are already on but of course I have kept the originals. Love T5 wheels but can’t bring myself to do it. I do love how your head works in the justification of a new choice versus selling, I’ve had over 80 cars but I rarely keep anything long as I get bored, Agatha has done well at 4 years to be honest! I prefer the one in one out rotation of my work hack to get my fix. Lovely car though I’ve never had a Volvo.

Yes, I'm with you about polishing and cleaning to get to "know" every little detail about a new car. This is lovely. So well kept and a spec that I like. I am sure you will be able to even further improve her, and will enjoy doing so! BTW - Very impressive mot history!

Haha. Thanks. Yes the MOT history can indicate how well a car has been looked after can’t it. When you see year after year the same advisories with more being found, it doesn’t speak ‘cared for’ does it. Or at least it says it has been used on a tight budget. Thanks for your support.

Hi Paul, you've bought a real gem there, I was surprised at the beginning when you said that the Clio had gone, but I'm glad you replaced it with an older car, and the Volvo is as genuine as you can get. I've just got my old Civic out again and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks. Yes I was also surprised but the Clio, while it was fun, was not used much and had more value being sold and freeing up funds for others. Glad you got the Civic back out on the road. They need to be driven. Just want to say thanks for all the comments and support. It’s really appreciated.

Lovely car & ideal addition to your Fleet & maintained to your standards, a Volvo is hard to beat. I think Volvo did Orthopaedic seats, hence so comfy

Wow that car is in remarkable condition and a credit to the previous owner. I think that car will last you for years to come. Nothing wrong with the model and specifications at all, to be fair I prefer it to the Clio.

Thanks. The Clio was in lovely condition but I do prefer older. Thought I would miss it more than I have but money and space meant I had to sell something and it was the most logical. Thanks for your support 👍

@@LivetoDriveUK Well I’m slightly biased as I had a bad experience with a Renault Scenic but that was a long time ago and the dust has settled but has definitely given me an opinion on the brand, I am sure there will be many people who have similar experiences of each and every brand out there.

One stunning car that, it's as close as you will get to buying it from new. I'll admit if I were to want one then the estate would be my choice (and with a T5 badge 😂) but a S70 in that condition and low miles is a lovely thing. I had expected Reggie to be the one to go but as you said the Clio was releasing funds for other things. Nowt wrong with selling a underused car. I was sad to see my campervan go but I wasn't using it so much and it was attracting the night time scumbags so I decided the money was better in my bank account than.

Ah yes. A T-5R or 850R 😍 Or a V70R. Would love one. What I like about the S70 is that 2.5 5 cylinder sounds so nice on cold start up. That’s in a future video. Agree if a vehicle isn’t being used; the Clio did 90 miles between MOTs one year, then there is no point keeping it. Thanks for watching and your comment. 👍

The Volvo S70 2.5 10v uses Volvos modular engine code B5252FS. The Focus ST between 2005 and 2010 uses the Volvo modular engine code B5254T5 (225 BHP) which is based on the B5254T2. Ford rebadged it as the Ford Duratec ST, fitted variable valve timing to both camshafts, a lighter flywheel and did some throttle recalibration.
