Hello Aki. Now that's the way a engine stand should be. I was never a fan of hanging all the engine weight off of just a bell housing. I have the old style engine stand but modified it to support the front of the engine as well. Maybe some day I can afford the real deal like you have there. 👍

Yea chrome sockets crack eventually after a few used. Impact sockets are made for impact guns. But in certain situations you got to use the chrome cause of tight clearances cause the impact sockets are thicker.

Impact sockets are made with stress points to resist the impact, “regular” sockets are made with stress points to resist normal stress from tension. But you can obviously use them as you see fit since Honda doesn’t have high torque like German cars

I’ve been wanted to get one of his stands for awhile now. Might just have to pull the trigger. Also on the chrome sockets if you talk to a snap on guy they are harder than impact sockets and wear out the clip on the end of your impact that holds the socket on…? Dunno if that’s true. Either way you do you.

I was told the black impact sockets hold vibration differently then the chrome sockets. So with the chrome sockets all that vibration runs through the impact gun so it’s slowly destroying the inside of your electrical impact guns. Don’t know how true that is though 🤷🏽‍♂️

Pilot bearing? Please, let me know the technique. I didn't see one go in. No bearing? I forgot it once and couldn't mate the trans to motor. Put the bearing in and things worked out.
