Nice video. Just one FYI, the directions indicate that the ice is the last ingredient added to the cup, which makes sense as it would be closer to the blades. The order of ingredients is also pictured on the box behind you. But really nice professional video.

Recently got one of these and it kinda changed my life lol.... Fill the cup, press smoothie, and one minute later I have a perfectly blended smoothie with no ice chunks at all... amazing! Definitely the right move adding the ice first. Heavier stuff helps weight it all down and blend the bottom stuff better.

Thank you so much for making this video! I had a Nutri Bullet and had to press down to blend the smoothie. That product stopped working and leaked a lot. When I went to use this product that method didn’t work. Then you showed the click! Once it clicked the smoothie was blended and tasted great. I don’t have to press down the entire time, just press the Smoothie button! Awesome!

I need to know how it would do on something like celery. I see a lot of the softer things such as bananas in demonstrations. Celery much harder. I plan to use it for celery drinks. Will I need to put it on the ice crashers settings for it to blend the celery? Or will it work on the Smoothies setting? Please reply because I am trying to figure out what to buy. Thank you!

The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud kzbin.infoUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

You seem to be the best reviewer for this product. I just ordered this and then discovered the twisti. Now I’m in limbo. Which one do I get if I A want perfect smoothies and B want to learn to make bowls. Do I buy the twisti to make both or do I buy this one and the smoothie bowl one? Both? Any advice

What to improve in Ninja Blender ? Make better noise isolation. Get rid of the rubber gasket in the blade part that comes in contact with the cup for less gunk ( a problem of all cup blenders in the marke). Build Quality of Ninja Blender is much better then Nutribullet and though noisy the Ninja Blenders are less Noisy then nutribullet and hay higher Watt then Nutribullet .
@Asidebar

Ive not had any problems with the rubber gasket. You need to clean the blade part and let it dry before putting it on closed.

I’ll agree on the noise.Should come with an ear damage warning.It’s a great machine and does a great job.Put the threads to the cups on the outside.If you take the lid off to add something the threads will have food in them. I have a Nutribullet 600 and that’s what I enjoy using.Quieter

It's a great product. If i have one thing to comment on it would be this: The lid has to be closed tight as you said. I would've not let it up to the user to tighten it, i would've made a small mechanism, a plastic nudge perhaps that makes it lock and seal. If you over tighten it, you might break it. if you fail to tighten it good, it will leak. I don't like the risk, that's all. Other than that, it's really great product.

Great product but unfortunately the bearings in the blades don't last and they don't support their products very well. Ordered replacement blades and they sent the wrong one, which I had to pay shipping, only for them to tell me later that they don't support the model I bought anymore. So this $200 blender less than a year ago that is still for sale in the stores? Nothing but planned obsolecesence. Won't be buying Ninja again.

I'm getting ready to toss mine out. There's a problem with cleaning it. I've tried putting detergent with water in the cup, putting the lid on that has the blade, turning it on the blender for a couple seconds, rinsing it all out. Then I'll put tap or purified water in the cup again, put on the lid, swish it around and it looks clean until I put it on the blender again for a couple of seconds. After that the water is cloudy with little bits of stuff. I'll repeat this process a couple more times, same result. Any solutions out there?

You need to take out the gasket in the blade lide. Only had it 2 months and it has mold in the plastic gasket that’s why it smelly!😱I got it as a gift so I feel bad giving it away but people have said the plastic below the lid starts to leak too cause it melts

@lasagnahog7695
@lasagnahog7695 Жыл бұрын
Yeah. My rough recipe is a jar of roasted red peppers, a couple spicy peppers (depends on the heat you want), a shallot, sesame oil, salt and pepper. Saute the shallot and peppers in the sesame oil with salt and pepper to soften them up and get rid of the raw veggie flavor then into the blender cup with the mostly drained roasted red peppers. I don't measure really but I use a 16 oz jar of roasted red peppers.

Don’t buy it! The blade collects mold on the gasket and Ninja doesn’t mention to remove it and it collects mold. It is hard to take out and it makes no sense to clean it after each use to remove the gasket!
@lasagnahog7695
@lasagnahog7695 Жыл бұрын
I find it easy to clean the gasket. Shove a cotton swap with isopropyl down there and rinse after. And I don't find it has to be done very often. Do you let your blade sit or immediately rinse it off? I don't use dishsoap on the blade so maybe that makes a difference. I just checked and neither this model or my older 700w blade have any mold that I can see or smell.
@clisaa6974
@clisaa6974 Жыл бұрын
@@lasagnahog7695 well for 2 months before I took out that gasket I would clean it under water with soapy water , rinse, and let it air dry. When I took it out finally that it when I noticed a little bit of mold growing and particles from my smoothies which I usually use frozen fruit. So now after every use I remove the gasket and let it air dry. I’ve watched others who talked about it. You have an nice idea and glad it works for you. But nothing will clean around the gasket as well as removing it. I never had this type of blender before in general as I have an older version of the Ninja that had been awesome for years but it’s a hassle when making single serve smoothies but it was the type were the motor was on top🙌🏻
@elgrancabron
@elgrancabron Жыл бұрын
@@clisaa6974 I wouldn't have ever considered not taking the gasket out and cleaning it on any blender. I didn't realize other blenders were more forgiving if you left the gasket in, though. Buying this for my, who is a moldaphobe (If there is such a thing), so it has to be clean. 🙂

it doesn't mold if you wash and let it dry before putting back on continued which doesn't allow it to dry. Taking the gasket off is not good for correct sealing.
