I find these videos very useful! I don't own a Swiss lathe (yet!) but they are just too cool looking to now get one so I think that's going to be the next machinebI get for my little 1 man shop

Good Luck! They are great machines, the one thing to keep in mind is your non-perishable tooling costs - if you are going to run with a sliding headstock for each size material you run you will need a collet and guide bushing plus a pick-off - if you have a bar feeder you will also need a bar feeder collet. Depending on your product mix it can add up quick, once you get multiple machines its nice you can share those across them. Let us know how its going when you pull the trigger!

whats the retrofitted pneumatic tube on the part chute for? cleaning? blasting parts off the chute walls? Did you take the tube from the default ejector (M72/M73)

Yes, the tube on the chute is to help gets the parts out of the sub and down the chute (instead of sticking/piling up) - I will have to check where they pulled it from.

@@KreminIncManufacturing Most likely. When your cincoms have a additional HP Pump, one valve is usually connected to the sub spindle for coolant thru spindle. That would render the Air valve useless, but still functional. It would make sense to use the default air hose somewhere else
