It would be terrible if they do Floyd vs Khabib. Ali would just be luring Khabib into a fight which he'll never win and turn him into Floyd's punching bag so he gets a percentage from Khabibs money. Even if Khabib makes it to 30-0 in the Octagon, a loss to Floyd in a Boxing ring still damages Khabibs unbeatable image. Not only that, it would be terrible for the sport of MMA if we let Floyd have the moral high ground of being the guy to have outclassed the 2 biggest names in MMA, especially with them only accepting for a paycheck that they would never receive even when fighting each other.

Khabib comes from a grappling background and Conor comes from a striking background, the two contrast in styles was what made their fight interesting. I never said I was for Conor vs Floyd so there is no hypocrisy. I accepted Conor vs Floyd only because Conors trash talk (back when it was actually funny) made the build up entertaining to watch but most importantly, Conor at least a had a chance against Floyd since he was such an impressive striker in MMA. Conors chances were very little but it's better than having literally no chance as Khabib would agaisnt Floyd. Khabib isnt a showman like Conor so the build up wont even be entertaining. I'm a Khabib fan and was rooting for him to smash Conor btw. Khabib said he fights for legacy not money so I'd rather watch him fight any Lightweight in MMA, if he really wants to get paid then he can always give McGregor an undeserved rematch (although i dont want to see that either), at least its in his sport. I guarantee Floyd's biggest fans and Khabibs biggest fans wouldn't even watch to see them box each other.

Floyd isn’t stupid. He will only fight with boxing rules. Like he should do. If Khabib tries to fight Floyd in a boxing match then Floyd will school him worse than he did Conor. Floyd walks around at 150 first of all and Khabib walks around at about 190 guy cuts a ton of weight. Regardless if they boxed at 154 pounds it would not be competitive Floyd wouldtouch him up. If you are gonna do boxer vs MMA in a boxing match atleast have it be a guy that's a striker with good boxing skills. Khabib only has a jab and its not very good his striking has improved but its still weak he only uses it to set up his takedowns thats it.

The only reason why it was kind appealing with Connor was bc at the time he was a great entertainer, and there was the hope that maybe, he could land a 1 in a million haymaker. Khabib is an amazing fighter, an out-of-this-world wrestler, but a slightly above average MMA standup striker, and an absolute shit entertainer. I hope this abomination never happens.
