Sometimes the materials might be preferable or one of the nodes might be a problem for you to clear in a timely manner. There's a multitude of factors, but there is no wrong choice! Interestingly enough JP is also launching some pecurliar mechanics in ordeal call nodes atm. As a new player(still arc 1), there's nothing wrong against the 90++, since the gold mat is otherwise unobtainable for a long time, but after clearing the Event Rewards, there's also nothing wrong to pick and chose what material I wanna farm, that's my mentality. First what is superior in terms of numbers, then clearing everything and in the end freestyle

A large part of the argument is just : Save AP vs save time, lotto is where it usually matters like you said. I really like the rikyu tea event bc it is fairly easy to 2T the 90++ using the welfare and its basically a lotto event. Other ones I can definitely say is pretty rough for non-big spenders.

200% event CE should do the trick with a good saber for this first one (1/1/1). My Yagyu should be able to do it from what I’ve tested.

​​​@@EnReaper problem is when the events doesn't have a power mod CE. Like for example the next GudaGuda has a challenging 90++ with no power mod CE on either store, gacha or freebie from points or missions. Sometimes the power mod CE will be at the gacha as well and unless you pull, you won't have that 100%-200% extra damage. So if you cannot defeat with your normal units without power mod CE, it's better to step down to 90+. Things will change in 2 years or earlier if Devs add the ⭐ nodes. As now in JP we have ⭐ and ⭐⭐ nodes which are way harder but give x5 the damage if you use the enemy weaknesses. As using an Omni weakness like a Berserker will only give you the normal bonus. So for example if Devs add that difficulty before ordeal call, Sabers would do x5 damage on the 90++ node beating Berserkers by a lot. Given that we sometimes get stuff early in Global, we can expect to see the star nodes as soon as we get maybe into post LB7 events.

@@satrioapro4984 now that the event is actually out. Double castoria + Oberon + trung sisters(200% CE) = easy looping. Pokemon trainers are officially a worth it investment. They were always super reliable but being able to do the 90++ node because of their 30 battery makes life easier

TL;DW(I didn’t watch just going off of what I personally know lol) 90++ unlocks an additional slightly more efficient farming node, missing out on it doesn’t mean account damage, you just miss out on an option to farm some stuff more efficiently Don’t beat yourself up over not being able to 3t 90++ nodes, it’s really hard(what did you expect); unless it’s a lotto event where every moment matters for farming, just do face cards to satisfy damage checks(this event is still very merciful with a damage ce lol) You don’t have to always 5 ce or 6 ce all the 90++ nodes, it’s an expensive endeavor that puts a fat restriction on teambuilding(most of the time it’s not beneficial anyway unless the ce gives starting charge or something equivalently good) Rant over have fun with the (second) introduction of 90++ content

Here's all you need to know : Pick the node with the ascension material drop you need the most. If you need material A then farm the one that drop material A. 90++ that drop something you don't need is an easy skip. If you're indifferent about the drop then it'll depends on whether you're FGA user or not. If you're FGA user then farm one you can auto-farm. If you're manual grinder then 90++ node is good since a lot of the time it's easy 3 turn with crit setup. If you're FGA user and want the 90++ material drops... then I pray your account have some serious firepower and it's buster oriented.

I guess another thing to consider from a turns persepective is that if you can 3 turn a 90+ but it takes something like 5 or more, for the 90++ then the number of 90+ stages you can clear in a given amount of time will outstrip and therefore outproduce the 90++. If I can do 100 90+ in an hour but only 60 90++, then there's no competition if what you are saying about the returns being so close is true.

Do you have Santa Karna bro? 100% crit up on quick cards on one of skills. If you have double Scotty you should only need two of his cards which will mean much less RNG with the shuffle mystic code.

If you have Castoria, just use summer Hokusai with damage CE

I was able to guarantee 3 clear using Hokusai Saber (9/4/9) + two castoria. Just requires the maxed out Ice warrior CE(from pts) and two fist of hail CE(on Castoria and support Castoria) + any mystic code that gives damage in general. Set up: Use every skill on Hokusai except 1(Charisma of hope) and Hokusai Np battery skill. 3 Scenarios: Scenario A: Best case: Buster+Arts or 3 cards(Hokusei) Turn 1: Chain Buster+Arts or 3 cards kill first wave. Turn 2: Use Np Turn 3: Use remaining skills 1(Charisma of hope) and Hokusai Np battery skill to get the final 50% charge and mystic code damage then NP instant 1shot. Scenario B: ‘Bad luck:’ No cards or single card. Turn 1: Use single card or no card then Np first wave. Turn 2: the game will guarantee 2 Cards 1 card not Quick. Use remaining skills then kill wave by chaining Hokusei cards(3 carding). Turn3: mystic code damage + Np. Scenario C Mid luck: Either only Quick+Arts or Quick+Quick or No cards Turn1: Use Hokusei cards to attack and get crit chance buff and finish with Np on 3rd card. Turn2: All remaining skills + mystic code then attack with the Hokusei cards given(the stack crits from turn 1 will make turn 2 cards kill wave two) Turn 3: Np + 1 Hokusei(4-5 crit stacks, will kill)

The summer event, I chose to farm the Berserker 90 node. As a new-ish account, I got Summer Ibuki at Np4, intended to use her for just about everything I could for the forseeable future, and didnt have the gems to level her skills (on account of being silly and putting the gems from my master missions into Herc.) Farming the berserker node let me put a dent into the required gems, the mat drops were also something S!Ibuki needed a lot of, and I had a healthy stockpile of blue apples from levelling up by doing the main campaign, so the lower efficiency was less of an issue.

Thank you for going through all these aspects of the 90+ versus 90++ Khadroth. For lottos, my sanity lets me clear 25 to 50 boxes, never close to capping out with 6 MLB CEs. And I will probably stick to 90+ for lottos I am not sure how I feel about 90++ for non lottos. I think that I will need to give both a try for a bit and see what feels like a good balance.

For me, it is mostly going to depend on what ascension material the node drops. Eggs are very useful/needed this summer, so the 90++ is the obvious choice for the summer event. Plus, I assume that you will be able to borrow units from friends, so any of my friends will have a level 100 Hokusai Saber to borrow from me with a max limit broken CE for +200% (+ event damage bonus she gets). 90++ won't be hard at all for most accounts for this summer's event, just like the 90+ node won't be hard either if you have the welfare unit. So, pick the node that drops the most needed ascension material or do both nodes and get a mix.

You aren’t missing much honestly. In this event the real difference is if you want to hit multiple enemies or fight 3 waves of one hp bloated enemies. With my team of Merline, Hajime Saito and np5 Castoria still takes 5-7 turns. Only reason I keep using the node is because I can use ST servants.

been clearing the 90++ on NA with Trung sisters, Tamamo, Oberon and a friend's Castoria, gotta say, managed to just hit the 1.05M mark, just enough damage, but pretty good farming

So I've decided to recently come back to the game and while a little lost on whether or not looping is still the way to farm for NA (Asked the /r/grandorder Discord and all I got back was to save for Oberon and that Multi-Core was the thing now instead of looping which is why they hadn't updated it in 2 years) but from what I understand from this video it kinda comes down to this. Outside of the obvious time vs AP you should ask yourself can you clear the 90++ Node in 5 turns or less using a damage CE for your Damage servant? If Yes it's more efficient than 90+ because you're still clearing it twice faster than the 90+ is with better rewards. if the Answer is No then ask can you 3 turn farm the 90+ with all bonus drop CE's available to you? if the answer is YES then do that because you will have cleared it twice while attempting to do the 90++ if the Answer is no then it doesn't matter and really comes down to which effects your sanity more. Appreciate the video helps me figure out what the new nodes mean and if any makes me worried I peaced out after the 5th anniversary only to completely skip out on the 3T meta and now I gotta start rebuilding AGAIN!

There is one for qp, xp and some mats. They also multiply your points (qp node at 10 I have I think 6x points instead of 1.5x).

You'll want to max everything eventually, but the later stages have a much higher priority, as that's where you can get the NP upgrades for the Valks after the stages hit max level

I played JP (stopped around OC2), Don't be disheartened even if you don't have Koyan and Oberon- because I remember to be able to 3t 90++ node 90% of the time without them. I do have Castoria and summer skadi tho. And NP2 Junao I guess but it's not like he can loop without Koyan LOL. Just strategize well with your best DPS and friend support and you'll be good to go. Most of the time the event's welfare is the best choice!

Looking ahead Ive been planning these around these given the state of my chaldea and for the most part the ones this year are very much doable. Hokusai or Saito for this event, Chloe and Liz for Halloween, Luvia or Iyo for gudaguda and Melusine for part of the fairy knight cup. That is outside of rotation 2 of the fairy knight cup, no matter what I tried I just couldn't figure out a way to consistently do it with my own servants while continuing to 6 slot, even 5 slotting wasn't easy for that node, calced a team using Mhxx, Arash and Oberon which does work for 5ce. I know there are a couple comps that use a high level friend Oberon instead but those are pretty rare looking at my own friends list. I do find it fun to work these things out, not a big deal if you cant 3t every node anyway. The only time that efficiency really matters is during a lotto but even then most people are going to have more time than ap available to spend unless you have really been stockpiling apples or are one to throw SQ for refreshes.

Personally I think for the second 90++ there might be something with Euryale that might make a semi consistent 4 turn clear possible for me. Got 30% charge and everyone's got coins for mana loading as long so as you get her to her NP I think she should clear wave 2 without targeted buffs because of how strong her anti male niche is. Trying to think of something like Castoria/Emiya/Arash/Euryale/Oberon(support). Doing this kinda of multicore farming without 50% charge CEs is the real hard part.

An interesting comparison is it also may well be more efficient for lower tier players even WITH the damage boost CE, purely because if you're not able to get a full set of +2 CE's (for instance at present I have 3 MLB CE's only, plus a 4th from a friend) slotting in the damage boost CE is only a +1 difference. On the other hand, while the 90+ is set up for easily being annihilated by the welfare servant, the 90++ is... not so much, which means for newer players the damage boost CE is very appealing which is nice at least (even if your best saber isn't in the inately boosted damage by the event list, slapping the 'deal triple damage for event' CE on them will let them go wild)

Bro event has 200% damage 50% charge ce. You can just go any good dps with 3 supports and 3-5 turn it at most.

Santa Karna with double Scotty does this in like 3-6 turns. But it's less RNG than you'd think because of his 100% crit up on quick. 100% crit up on quicks crit from Scotty and a 100% crit up for crits on Ruler Scotty. You don't need a brain chain or something like that. Two cards will do, with the card shuffle you'll 3 turn more than you'd expect for carding.
