What an intellectual discussion, Malick sb had good researched points which are rightly answered by the SPHF CEO. I didn't know that every action is overlooked by an auditor. Proud to see Pakistan executing this project.

Transparency resilience and innovation are the key words from this whole interview. So good to see Sindh government taking positive measures for the districts.

I have seen the videos even during the heavy rain and it was good to see that the houses were intact, people were happy and that was much needed after the flood those people faced in 2022.

EY has a renowned name globally and hiring them as an external party to check the work shows that SPHF is giving a challenge to the world and proving authenticity.

Such programs have the power to showcase the project to the world and that's exactly what is needed considering the current monsoon season in the country.

Rebuilding million homes is a monumental task that SPHF is doing and if it is possible because of Sindh government then we should appreciate the efforts.

The world can learn from SPHF's innovative approach to reconstruction. Khalid sb is right that Europe had build back through loans and if Sindh government keep working on this project with transparency, soon Pakistan will re-establish too.

Since Sindh has already started this, I'm sure other provinces can flourish the plan as well and may be they do even better than SPHF. As a nation, we should appreciate that.

There is no middle person and that makes this project different from others, not only because you're empowering the benefiaries but also because the dedication a person puts in building his own house can never match the dedication of any external builder.
@MaheenZulqarnainАй бұрын
Sindh government has taken this initiative and keeping all the political affiliations aside, the federal government and all other provinces should support and implement the same in each province. That's the only way Pakistan can succeed.
There are many pictures of world bank representatives visitng different districts of Sindh and because of that, the firms know the actual reality behind this project.

A house made by the person is one thing but then there is an NGO that overlooks and certifies the construction shows that SPHF is setting some standards for the houses. I'm assuming this is the reason why the houses are still intact even after another rain spell in Sindh.

True that Asian Development bank and ISDB do not give donations without any transparency. And if you would have used a person instead of a banking channel, I think these organizations wouldn't have cooperated.
