The meaning of Khaling; As much as I can guess. ᤂᤠᤶ॥ (Khâm) - Land / Earth. ᤗᤡᤱ॥ (Liŋ) - To grow. All of our names have some sort of meaning. With words that're quite old; Compared to nowadays, mostly cognates throughout other languages.

Also, religious words & fundamental simple and basic words in general are identical in all of our languages.

Sewaro & Dakso lwamna, I would consider the Khaling dialect an isolate; It's quite different compared to other dialects, the closest language to it I know is Dumi Rai; But, it's still very familiar to me; Words like Khé:ni: Is similar to our word of Khât:ni: Nung & Ming; Yet, it uses quite different words, though. ᤀᤥᤳ ᤋᤠᤃᤣᤖᤠ ᤏᤡᤱᤘᤠ ᤑᤢᤔᤠᤱᤀᤣ ᤀᤠᤛᤣᤘᤠᤖᤥ॥

But, colloquially known as the Sirijunga sap / saksak in some dialects, meaning the script of Sirijunga, the man who invented it; Who was martyred, killed by some Tibetic warlord. There are many stories like this of opression of minority tribes.

An interesting question. What languages do you speak? Do you speak one of the other Rai languages? I was told by a friend who is a native Khaling Rai speaker that the word is pronounced "gyu" with a long "u" sound. It is a bit hard sometimes to capture a sound accurately in our western alphabet, but that is how it sounds to me. One might also spell it "gyoo" possibly to capture the sound.
