I just randomly looked for a Sikh special podcast, so glad that I stumbled upon the beautiful community we have. I am a Sikh living in India, I come across very orthodox beliefs and rituals which pushed me away from Sikhi, I just wish we had more educated Sikhs creating podcasts and a community that has more modern interpretations of sikhi. Some of us do not ready for Amrit, but we still want to learn more and connect to our Guru Maharaj through meditations and other ways of life. May more Sikh brothers and sisters join hands and take forward some steps together.

I have seen Many sikhs doubt this particular fact, they say guru sahib did not able to save himself from shaheedi then how is it possible he is himself parbrahma. How come mughals able to hurt him? How do u answer these tarkvaadis?

Boss, everything is not right. It is only as per that particular jatha. You need to make it Clear to the sangat. I feel you’re podcasts are good but don’t make such interviews like a blanket for all other sikhs and non Sikhs. You cannot use the Guru’s name and extrapolate the kurehits as per your mind. I’m not not advocating anything but meat and alcohol was prevalent during Gurus time still the Rehits are very explicit. If the Guru wanted he could have been very explicit about including it in the kurehits. Guru is explicit only about tobacco. The way these two are talking you cannot live and enjoy worldly pleasures in this world. Then what Raaj do you want? How can such a vegetarian Sikh join military services? And why will any military recruit you? A soldier eats off the land and anything. Khalsa is an army. Which army in the world is vegetarian. ? Alcohol is in medicines , perfumes and even used as a intoxicant in small doses recommended by doctors. Was used in surgery before anasthesia. That way then even painkillers and syrups are bad because they cause drowsiness. Total bullshit. Because of such people , nobody even Sikhs don’t want to baptise. During your spiritual practise in Bhakti marg, gradually if you feel to refrain from meat and alcohol please do but only speak for yourself. Don’t take the gurus name and confuse people. You want to alienate yourself you do , don’t tell others.
