the funny thing about spamton is that he literally has voice lines in his boss themes, yet he’s one of the only characters (if not the only one) where there’s not really a specific voice that the entire fandom agrees on for him. there’s so many cool interpretations of it and it’s so fun to see how he sounds when i find voice acting for him. i think this voice though really does him justice. sometimes the corrupted / unhinged side of him is so predominant that he’s completely incomprehensible, and sometimes there’s so much of a friendly neighborhood salesman kinda tone to him that he doesn’t sound like himself at all. however this voice kinda meets in the middle, it’s perfect, 10/10, i love this sm

Jevil’s part in the song is just so beautiful and probably sums up every secret boss. Even after you face Jevil and he tells you “you’re trapped even if you are outside the bars” essentially saying that Kris doesn’t know true freedom because they aren’t free, as the player is controlling all of their actions throughout the span of all 7 chapters except for the endings probably. So we probably can expect every “hidden boss” to be someone or something telling Kris about freedom as they aren’t and the hidden boss of each chapter knows that. That’s just a theory though so take it with a grain of salt :)

@Herr_Schindler2 жыл бұрын
@@itzwaluigitime8678 Spamton is primarily a salesman, and therefore his voice should be similar to the voice of a salesman. What's the point of his voice being so hysterical? He is not the embodiment of chaos. Chaos has nothing to do with it at all. Juno's voice is definitely good. However, it does not similar to what is given in the game. Why is the voice on the background of the Spamton theme the voice of Spamton? Well, because the voice, being under a different pitch, quotes the Spamton himself. And the hidden vocals on the background of BIG SHOT definitely belong to Spamton, I hope you won't deny it. The voice in the TWR/PoN part completely matches the rest of the vocals in BIG SHOT. Everything is simple. And I also advise you to compare the vocals in BIG SHOT with the dialog voice of Spamton, since the same method is used as with the voice of Sans. I actually really like this cover lot more than Junos. Don't get me wrong, l enjoyed his cover as well. However, his was too.... surface level. It was well done and creative, what with the adds and references galore. However, that was mostly all it had going to it. It doesn't really delve into Spamtons character, and sorta just makes him a generic villain. He just wants to have power and rule, it doesn't really dive all that deeper. Whereas Kham, he goes to the next level of going into his motivations and state of being. What l really REALLY love tho, is the acknowledgement of Jevil and "The World Revolving". During the bit where it plays, Jevil just coming in solely for his theme is superb. He acknowledges how he and Spamton desire freedom, and chaos. It's Spamtons whole story in the song, as well as his shadow crystal companion(companion as in both having crystals and referencing "Dark yet darker"). This has... *depth* , whereas Juno went with the snowgrave Spamton, and as such, didn't have to really dive into his character, and keeping it simple. He doesn't go that extra mile. TL;DR: Both covers are good, but Khams' is my favorite because of the lore, and keeping it serious

While the other covers lean to much into the crazy add idea, this one balances is out well with lyrics that dont just feel like they want to refrence all of the ha ha filunny lines. Also this is a personal thing, but I used to like Spamton.....then he became overated and his super fans became anoying. This is the one thing that still lets me relive atleast a bit of care for his character, and i cant thank you enogh for it. Also the Jevil part was incredible, it truly felt like you were respecting his character instead of making fun of him. (i apologize for how long this is and any spelling mistakes, just wanted to get this out)

Definitely an original take on BIG SHOT- and while narratively I don't agree with some of the stylistic choices, this still manages to be catchier. Like MOTI's BIG SHOT cover has Spamton's [bracket text] be more like ads overwriting his voice, which I agree with more than Spamton having a more robot-like voice with that bracket text, ypu guys execute that version of it better. I love how intense you sound as Spamton, practically shouting at the end in his desperation to finally be free. Every single line of his soinds desperate and it's perfect. Also while I originally thought Jevil singing the "freedom" section was a big cheesy and took away from Spamton's struggle at first, I actually now really like how it connects Spamton and Jevil, paving the way for the next secret bosses and connecting the overarching idea of chaos and freedom to Kris's struggles. Also the sudden Mad Dummy intereuption was great. xD

That Jevil part was amazing honestly. Watched a bit of your stream and was in chat a little while you were making it, and seeing the Jevil part on the actual video was very cool. Didn't see it coming.

I love your voice for Spamton so much that it has become my headcanonical voice for Spamton. At a neutral tone (or as the usual salesman he is) his voice is reminiscent of the announcer from Cuphead. But once he becomes [NEO] he turns into this Weird Al-soundalike that just screams computer terms. And god, the way you hit those high notes (especially during the Moonside Cafe solos)... they're just PERFECT!! I cannot emphasize how absolutely godly your consistency and singing voice is, it's masterful. I love Juno's and Man on the Internet's rendition as much as the next guy, but THIS. This is a masterpiece.

This was MUCH better than the new Man on the Internet's version, that one was a bit too, chaotic, this one is a song.
@ValueNetwork2 жыл бұрын
There’s nothing wrong with the MOTI song, however they clearly did a different version. This song is a exploration of the characters inner conflict and they captured Spamtons desperation perfectly, whereas MOTI emphasised the chaos of the boss fight himself and Spamtons outward appearance sacrificing some clarity for a more faithful adaptation.
@SobiTheRobot2 жыл бұрын
@@ValueNetwork Nothing wrong, no, but the lyrics are difficult to follow since they've got two singers interrupting each other every line and changing the audio style dramatically.
@BananaHoovyJ.Rabbit2 жыл бұрын
Moti embraced the manic INSANITY of Spamton This version was much more hinged. Can't decide which one is better.
@themostcertified4377 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion, Man on the internet’s version was better due to the fact they better captured the insanity of the fight itself, instead of focusing on spamton’s struggles (or whatever, I’m no writer), which makes more sense since spamton is most definitely a character befitting a chaotic song (also the singer’s switching was a reference to them making songs about the 2 versions of big shot)

Oh my god. Once the song started, I recognized the voice instantly. I'm so glad to see that you are doing well, Radix. I'm not aware of what happened to you in the last few years, since I haven't been interested in the undertale fandom for quite a while, but I'm glad that you are doing okay. Your songs are amazing, and this lyrical remix of "Big Shot" is absolutely insane. Also, I love the fact that Mad Dummy showed up at the end of it, since one of my favourite songs of yours is the lyrical adaptation of Mad Dummy's theme :D It's so nice to see how much you've improved! You did really well, dude.
