At first I thought Holland was defending the takedowns very well and thought Khamzat was going to let him off, reset and then go for the takedown again (like most others would do) but Khamzat stuck to him like glue! This guy is special!! Love or hate him he is special!! Not to many men in this world like this guy!! It reminds me of watching a young Tyson destroying everyone in his path!! Anyone that has a brain knows the UFC made the doctor stop him from making weight!! They didn’t want a riot when he destroyed Nate!! When a guy is able to bring 55 individuals to a fight and everyone of them are high and claiming they are gangsters, it causes a guy to bring a squad with him to protect him!! When UFC realized the possibility of the Nate crew going crazy when Nate would get destroyed they realized he wasn’t safe!! And all these simple minded people talking crap about Khamzat should be talking crap to the UFC for allowing the Dias brothers to continue the ignorance of the gangster crap for so long and allowing them to bring 50 goons to every fight as a intimidation factor for every fighter that they went up against!! This is not reality tv this is the fight game with professionals not thugs!! Nate was getting so upset that he couldn’t get his hand on Tony he was ready to quit and was yelling to his boys in the stands. Can you even imagine if Khamzat would have slept that idiot and then disrespected him in the ring!! All hell would have broke loose!!

As real as it gets? That's why he got the opponents switched before missing weight? Lol he was avoiding the guy who's prepared for his style of fighting, to get a guy who's not prepared AT ALL for it so he could get a highlight. Then he can come say shit like "Holland is better than nate" to try make it look like he took a tougher fight when stylistically he didn't. He wouldn't have subbed nate like that at 170, and trying to would've drained his energy and we already know his stamina sucks which is why he didn't take any chances with Holland and went for an easy win without even trying to strike lol.

Khamzat hit the nail on the head with "what do they want me to do? They want to see me crying" that's all it came down to. I'm pretty sure what they wanted was for him to show up on time and on weight, like every other fighter... Diaz fans have always followed the pretty simple belief that if you don't show up in the ring...you lose... It's not new and never been complicated... Khamzat is not a 170.

People just want him to acknowledge his mistake. He didn’t do what he was contracted to do. Nobody wants to see him cry, that’s ridiculous. Just don’t blow it off like it was nothing. @@joelm6631 first and only time he's not made weight. It happens. Even on this card you had fighters not make weight. The level of hate he is getting is from him not acting miserable and sad about it. And why should he when everything worked out and the fans got the best outcome possible? If he didn't get to fight and ruined the card I'm sure we would have seen a different khamzat because then he would genuinely have been sad and took something away from the fans and screw himself as well. He came to the weigh ins knowing everything was sorted, everyone getting what they want. I would rather he just express his genuine emotion than act up for the cameras. Khamzat mentions offering up his entire purse to fight Diaz regardless of weight, and people are upset Diaz didn't take the offer acting like Khamzat "is real", but to Diaz's point - that's not how this business works, you show up, you make weight and if you don't you're only enforcing the argument that you're a rookie. Everyone else shows up and makes weight because ultimately, this isn't backyard bare-knuckle fighting - there are weights and divisions for a reason. Amazing how everyone in these comments just does a 360 in a matter of hours, loving Khamzat, then hating him, then back to loving him because of a fight's results/press release. He fought a striker that had no preparation for wrestling (Holland himself was extremely apprehensive about fighting a wrestler once they announced it), of course he got a takedown immediately without taking any damage, why are people still acting like he's the 2nd coming because of this last-minute fight change? This card was a joke from the beginning for Khamzat, someone like Colby should've been his next true test, not Diaz or Holland.

Morons, he wants someone to bring the dog out of him. Robert is the nicest guy in the UFC but in my opinion, Robert is dangerous for him. Top 1 and 2 of the divisions might be too much for him after what happened between him and Gilbert.

Missing weight happens to the best of them especially early on in their career rather, than later on in their career… What started off as a problem turns out really wasn’t a problem at all as quick as it ironed itself out.. If backstage popped off is nothing compared to what may have taken place if Nathans crew saw him in a Chechen handcuff getting smashed would’ve been a potential bad moment in the sport!! Look at how he hopes to help someone, or the amount of respect he has for Robert says something about his true character! I cannot wait to see him achieve his goal as the champion

Other then that i love this guy too young too git a long bright future ahead!! FYI canceling presser missing weight i have funny feeling was part of the UfC play!! He didnt miss weight cause he couldnt do it!! He was told to not do it!!! which makes me believe they were hoping diaz would back out of fight He didnt called their bluff and got the fight he wanted and won anyways!!
