Corrections needed: 1- Grams stains has no role in its diagnosis 2- That’s not the way chlamydia is grown.” Streak it in a Petri dish”??? Which culture media? Cell lines are used to culture chlamydia. 3- That is not how the antibiotic sensitivity testing is done for chlamydia. That’s not up to your mark sal !

"you have to understand the hierarchy of the antibiotics, what antibiotic is going to be more effective than the other. The course should start off with the Doxycycline, (in combination with the Metronidazole), and then move to the Erythromycin four times a day if the infection persists, but then finally a fluoroquinolone(the Levaquin) is the last resort..." (the Azithromycin is a more potent form of the Erythromycin and might be used as the last dose of the Erythromycin course, or the Azithromycin might be used on its own without a back-up antibiotic if the course is somehow interrupted...)

They took the sample of my urine and after 2-3 days I was diagnosed with chlamydia. Now I am taking doxycycline twice a day for 7days. I’m on my 4days now and I noticed I can still feel a little itchy on the tip of my penis . I’m not sure of the doxycycline really works for me. Planning to comeback after 7days of treatment

What if you’re both infected and are both under treatment ? And still are having sex? My boyfriend ended up removing the condom without me knowing. While both of us are about 10 days post the treatment (got treated at different times) He so stupidity still went in. How high is the likelihood of out treatment still able to work ? (Only had sex once post the treatment)
