Khanyisa back with the Jabulani Herd after being unwell

We had such a lovely morning with Khanyisa!
She sped out to meet her elephant family, and many of them were quite curious, smelling her all over her body. Klaserie paid some special attention to her in the stables area before we headed out for a walk.
During the walk, Bubi and Klaserie clear some roots and take the sand in their trunks to blow on themselves, Khanyisa watches and learns with every step.
Khanyisa spent a lot of time with Bubi and Klaserie, and suckled quite a bit from Bubi. Lundi always keeps an eye and moves in from time to time, but she trusts them with Khanyisa completely.
After a couple of hours, we headed back to the stables, and Lundi said her goodbye to Khanyisa alone at the orphanage.
It was evident that the elephants knew she was not well by the continuous sniffing with their trunks around her body and especially where she had the transfusion needles, though we did not get all of that on video.
We are so happy to see her back to her usual self, and we appreciated every special moment watching her with her loving new family together.

Watching her videos is food for my soul. Her little angelic face and her beautiful eyelashes bring joy to my heart. I'm so happy her condition is improved. Excellent job everyone does there with all these beautiful elephants.

khanyisa is so loved and has a really big family from humans to elephants and me to she's just so cute and they are making sure that she won't get hurt just so beautiful thank you for helping her they were worried about her I'm so glad that she's ok please send more 😄😆😉😘🌹🥀

The very last gesture is so deeply heart touching: Lundi leads Khanisa to the stable like a mother gets her child save to the kindergarden. They stop exactly at the gate, the child gives a last tender touch with the trunk and they part. THANK YOU for sharing this magical moment.

My God khanyisa is so very blessed. How the big ones protect her and show their love for her. rubbing her with their trunks. Felling her behind the ears as it was there that blood was given. Then keeping her in between them. Finally lundi leaving her to the shed. If they were able to hug her like we do , all the big ones would have done so. Lovely. Hat's off to the whole team.
