If you like to go to the national park, there is the national park's passport that you can stamp when you go to any national parks around Thailand. You can find it at any national park offices.

I recommend you to visit place It is not well-known among foreign tourists. Phu Thap Boek, Phetchabun Province of Thailand. You will see beautiful nature, mountains , and sleep on a sea of clouds, like you are in heaven.

If you stay overnight in Khao yai. There is night tour service and take you around to see wild animals. Luckily you will see many different animals which come out from deep jungle for example tiger , porcupine , civet , deer and many more. The vibe on night time is so amazing

There are a few spots that you could stay over night there other than a number of hotels; large and small, at the entrance of the park. Inside the park, there is one camping ground, a number of the park's bungalows, and air force's bungalows, too.

Hi, quick note if you plan to visit KHAO YAI National park. Elephant here are not as cute as we have in sanctuary or village. Sometime, they're huge and angry animal that will charge you if you get too close. So, if you find elephant in KHAO YAI National park, stay in your car (if you can), keep your distance and let national park officer handle the situation.

2:26 The name of that waterfall can be litterally translated as "Hell gorge waterfall". (Not so) Fun fact about this waterfall is that, wild elephants oftenly fall to death from this waterfall, hence sometime people call it "Elephant graveyard".

There will be wild animals during the day and wild animals at night. You can ask the staff to take a ride to transport the wild animals at night. Haew Suwat Waterfall was a part of the movie The Beach. 😊

Hi! Can I walk-in to the park and do some hiking? Or do I need to book ahead? Also, how much is the entrance fee to the park? Does it already come with a tour guide? Thank you.

Yes, you can just arrive to the park, on a car or a bike, and go hiking - there's a few official routes you can follow that are created for hikers. No need to pre-book for just hiking or entrance - but booking accomodation/camping in advance is recomended if you're staying for the night. There is an entrance fee (400 Baht I think), but when you book a tour with a guide it is usually included in the price. Hope it helps :)

Elephants are wild animals and should not be approached even by forest guards.

The forest guards is very important to the safety of all wild animal and people. As to connect between central (Thailand) with lower northeast areas, roads need to invade through the wild that wild animal lives . Ton of cars and trucks are running daily while wild animal roaming around as well. In order to protect all wild creatures , these guards must keep an eyes on in to ensure that both parties (animal and human) are in harmony to share the route without accidents.

🇹🇭🐘But our Thai ancestors We have used elephants to fight in battles for thousands of years. There is no human on this planet who understands elephants more than Thai people. We know the best times for visitors to get close to the elephants. and cannot get close to the elephant to avoid danger But if it's a wild elephant that we can't control, you can run for your life by yourself.😁
