Why do you instruct people to open hard disc in unhealthy manner. This will turn hard drive to end of life. Being an IT professional having spent my 21 years in this field, I request all not to follow these steps. Hard disc is opened in a closed vessel/ chamber with proper humidity level, temperature level and completely dirt free environment with proper gloves, mask and special tools.

200% agree with the below comments: while you are cleaning logic board the hardrive platter are expose openly and dust dropped on it..............that is not a good practice so avoid and work in dust free environment. ' While cleaning you have to keep magnetic media separately so that dust should not deposited on magnetic media. Better work on dust free table and clean the items outside the dust free area

At 9:23 he cleaned off the dust from the controller to dump it on the platter in a non data free zone and hovering the sensitive area with a mettalic screw driver. Come on . Show some professionalism.
