Kharasom Village violates perpetual right says Chingjaroi Village

Chingjaroi villagers hosted a press conference on February 20 to counter the report about alleged land dispute issue by Sangai Express dated February 18 2023. It said locals of Chingjaroi allegedly destroyed two water reservoirs, one dwelling house, one lemon farm, water pipes and MGNREGS name plate of Kharasom village over a land dispute despite promulgation of CrPC 144.
Chingjaroi Khullen Village Chief Solomon A Shimray said the allegation is incorrect and that Kharasom villagers violated the perpetual rights.

Swemi/Chingjaroi Village is one of the oldest in Northern Tangkhul village Tracing the origin since time immemorial: From where these recent settlers came from?. Who is the main landowner?. Who is the intruder?. Who give the perpetual livihood to sustain?. Who has now forgotten n forsake the main owner?. Who is chasing out now the main owner?. A time when the owner is too good, they fail to count their blessings. It would be wrong to rewrite false history.

also know as shomai /shizomai by poumais ...... we know it is a very old village .. swemi village has i believe much poumai culture and many clans in swemi village trace their origin form poumai villages

i guess ur refugee race lived in swemi land for some time but if u go into details..... kuki people left because they were beaten up by swemi ( chingjaroi) and laii vafiimai villagers when they started encroaching in their land ...... ur history in embarrassing and cinge dont share it here at least .....
