Russian shells continue to fall on a ruined ghost town in Ukraine's Kharkiv region near the border between the two countries. Ukrainian soldiers who liberated the area say the Russians resent them because "we pushed them out" but will only fight at a distance.

I'm Czech, I've met a Russian speaking refugee from Kharkiv, I've asked her some questions about the war, Zelensky, what she thinks about Putin's need of protection of Russian speaking population in Ukraine etc... She said "I speak Russian but I am a proud Ukrainian, this Putin's "protection" of Russian speaking population is a complete BS, Zelensky is our hero and only outcome of this war will be Ukrainian victory"

Those were the 2 most heavily fortified in the region. When Ukraine did their incredibly successful thunder run in the north they bypassed and surrounded the most heavily defended locals. So the orcs assumed they would get bypassed like before. They were caught a bit offguard and ran in a panic. Again. So they run away and blow up the town they came to liberate because they are unable to fight Ukrainian soldiers. Russia looks like such cowardly scum.. Acts even worse. They didn't come to save anyone or anything. They came to destroy a free people whos success after leaving them was an embarrassment to their propaganda. With too much cross traffic of citizens to hide. The faster we smash russia and send them home, the less people die on both sides. Russia can have peace. Just go home and leave your neighbors alone.

Germany had quality StuG III's, Panzer III's, IV's, V's (Panthers), VI's (Tigers) yet they got their asses obliterated by the endless Soviet SU-76, T-34-76, T-34-85 spam. Quality ain't jack when you're massively outnumbered and when replacing your losses is impossible or takes colossal amounts of resources, time and effort. Stalin once said, "Quantity has a quality of its own". History corroborates his claim. The complete lack of tactical and strategic long-range weaponry that Ukraine has means they can't ever perform deep mainland strikes on Russia to destroy their most significant HVTs. Their comparatively pathetic size (and coordination) of artillery forces to those of Russia means that more Ukrainian legs and arms go flying than Russian ones, consistently. Their nearly inexistent production capacity means that they rely solely upon donations and purchases to rearm, where Russia posses ginormous stockpiles and a functional industry. I could go on but it's really so obvious it ain't even worth. Ukraine is a lost cause. The war will end when the US finally decides to pull the plug on the aid, leaving them in complete ruins.

2:45; those are flechettes, they are not banned nor against the laws of land warfare. In the United States Army, we call them “Beehive Rounds” because when fired (after the boom) the sound resembles a buzzing. They are specifically used by howitzers, that are normally indirect fire weapons when they are in danger of being overrun and must fire in a flat trajectory in defense of their positions, primarily, by enemy ground forces(infantry).

They like any weapon, are banned against civilians but against soldiers they are allowed. For the most part they don't kill as much as one would think unless close to the blast and then the concussion from the explosion does most of the work. What they are really good at doing is causing severe wounds though mostly survivable are still debilitating. That's their purpose, wound as many as possible because a wounded soldier is a far greater burden than a dead one for the enemy. Some soldier gets a flechette stuck in his cheek, jaw. a few in an arm and more in a leg because it exploded on his side and another soldier looking towards the explosion is peppered with them and another one got one in each butt cheek and stuck in his pack because he was kneeling while doing something are three soldiers not able to fight and costing allot in medical attention and even more in in their denouncing the war.

Well if the town is empty then let them waste the amo there, It shows they don't even bother to look at where they are shelling, What they are doing is pure evil and those soldiers who are firing them are as much to blame as the one giving the orders, Much Respect to Ukraine army's .

My Grandpa died near Kharkov in 43. We made a big mistake at that time. Should have freed Ukraine and handled you as equal not as occupied. Together we would have stopped Stalin and the bolschewiks for sure.

Bisschen zynisch, das "Stoppen" zu nennen, wenn man selber der Angreifer war. Davon ab hat die Ukraine ausreichend Probleme mit dem Nazi Vorwurf. Das braucht man nicht sinnlos anzufeuern.

Patton wanted to do the same because he saw the Red Army up close and personal. We should have pushed the Soviets out of Poland, E Germany, etc as well. Millions of lives would have been saved.

@@oliverschmid605 Was kümmert mich Ben Gurion? Die Taten des Hitler Regimes waren Unrecht. Da gibts keine Perspektive und auch kein Schönreden. Ihr Großvater mag kein schlechter Mensch gewesen sein. Gekämpft hat er aber für ein Verbrecher-Regime.

World War III Has Begun; How It Unfolds Depends on Us We think of the Russia-Ukraine war as a local conflict, but it is much more than that; it is a global war on multiple fronts. The war is not only a military conflict; it is also an economic war of attrition. With skyrocketing gas prices and shortage of staples, people all over the world are feeling the consequences of the war. This war is transforming the entire modus operandi of humanity. Since the dawn of time, we have been accustomed to living by the motto, “survival of the fittest.” By and large, the rule was that the strong determined the rules, and the rules were often abusive toward the weak. Now, it seems like a new mindset has set in: Wanting something and being strong enough to take it does not mean that the world will accept it. The war, therefore, is being fought on the inside no less, and perhaps more than on the outside. Our very makeup is changing from abusive to cooperative, from narcissistic to altruistic. It hurts, and it will not happen without a struggle, but it is irreversible. This is the path of our evolution toward the purpose of our creation-to encompass within us all of creation. To do that, we must come to care for it, just as a mother encompasses her child through her maternal love. The struggle to transition from our current uncaring and mean approach to all creations but ourselves, into wise and compassionate beings is called “the war of Gog and Magog” or Armageddon. Since the war is about our inner makeup, we can fight it within us. If we object to struggling with ourselves over who will rule-the ego or love-the physical reality will force us to choose love nonetheless. However, it will do so by hurting us in a very physical way. The war in Eastern Europe is nothing compared to what we might have to endure if we resist the process. The horrific descriptions of our sages and prophets hint at it, and we would not want to live through it. Alternatively, we can fight this war within us without firing a single bullet. The choice is in our hands. All we need is to continue in the same direction that nature is already leading us: toward connection. If we make an effort to care for one another, even though initially we don’t, then we are moving in the right direction. If we try to resolve conflicts not with guns or even legal battles, but by strengthening the care and friendship between us, then we are saving lives and sparing torments from countless people. In conclusion, let us try to rise above the hatred and see the human on the other side, who suffers too. Let us think that this war was given to us so we would think about each other more than we have so far. After all, were it not for this war, we would not notice one another. Now that it is here, we are no longer indifferent. Although our feelings our currently negative, now that we are aware of them, we can work on them together and turn them around. These are the wars of the Messiah who moshech [Hebrew: pulls] us out of the ego, and into mutual love.
