Kharkiv, Ukraine: District Under Siege

I used to live in Saltivka. What shocks me more than the emptiness of Saltivka, is the emptiness of Kharkiv City...the place looked seriously like a scene from a zombie movie.

Yeh the whole city is a lot quieter than before. You don't feel this in Dnipro or Kyiv. Kharkiv is very much a city still traumatized by war.

Is the Metalist Stadium still in tact? Also is Kharkiv Palace Hotel still operating as normal?

Kharkiv Palace is still working and seems to doing pretty well as a hub for journalists. Metalist is still in one piece, just closed for the time being. Maybe they play matches there behind closed doors, I am not sure

@@dannyizbritanii1062 I had the best times in both those places. I hope one day to catch a match at Metalist Stadium 🏟 & have a pre match coffee & cake at Kharkiv Palace Hotel 🏨

@@ironcurtainboxing yeh they are great places, believe it or not I have never been to Kharkiv Palace, one of those things me and the Mrs used to always say we would go for cocktails there in summer up top but never got round to it. Always next time!
