I was aghast when Powell announced that climate was a ‘political’ problem, and the fed would never consider it. Yet it is the fed that causes climate change! And then the Canadian central bank decided to include the cost of climate change, FOR FINANCE, rather than the cost of finance to the climate system. Appalling!

Biological and environmental limits must determine what and how much goods and services can be produced, not marginal abatement costs. Allowing large corporations to pollute with offsets is fraught with serious dangers.
