This is not an arranged marriage it is a forced marriage. She clearly stated that the family did NOT ask her consent, prior to marriage to this guy (as the family don’t ask girls). Personally, judge is incorrect and should have allowed Khula as she is clearly not happy and this marriage will not go much further. Even Islamic law allows this, if girl was forced or coerced into marriage it should be dissolved. She has fear of her parents and feels helpless. It is haram to force your children into marriage - people need to educate themselves.

Khawaja Naveed sehab is unable to understand her problems because he (judges) actually belongs to the "man in dominant" side which means "women's freedom" has no meaning for him as long as man has interest. The actual case is she is educated and motivated to take advantage of her freedom while her father is a traditional Islamic (as he looks) mind set so he has no women's freedom in his mind i.e. his attention is to support a family life where only man works, control daily matters, keep her covered, provide religious education to his children etc while he has no value what she earn in university. Although, it is an easy life if a woman stays in her home and her husband works to run daily life but modernization has its role because if this kind of life (man in dominant) unable to support a family in good standards then who is responsible? Like, she may not know consciously but every thing whatever happened around her did matter unconsciously. Now the question is what should be the solution? People always go for psychiatric care and use drugs to dim up their brain till a person is unable to think of any change which may take place whatever he or she is looking for at the age of approximately 45 years. It may help her father or her husband (who is sitting in lower gears but not what she is looking for). 2nd: solution from a social point of view; if a society i.e. judiciary is a practical establishment in any country, wants that they need to keep this marriage at all costs then they should not put these people on medication (that is where these couple is going to) they need to bring proper solutions for it. What is it? It is either this guy pick up education and gets a job like a professor, doctor, engineer etc or she lost her beauty like she grows bread, looks too old , has constipation, broken teeth etc. or both start suffering with social disaster like some one lost his home, move to some where for shelter, people unable to keep relationships with him or her etc. what that do? It will take her beauty away which is a good relief for her husband who is out of red charge and helps him to understand more social activities to pick up social charge (which is basically education, skill, values etc). 3rd: solution what each of them likes; it is clear she do not like it and want divorce to start back her life while the guy use influence to keep his marriage and he like her due to red charge (high standards) while unable to afford her too. Which means it is unmatched marriage for her. But she has no freedom. Which means need a political government who stand with women's freedom side and treat people with hookers, strippers, alcohol, marijuana so people look for their matches.
