Technically Khe Sahn wasn't a siege because it was never cut off from resupply.

awesome slides i was by carroll 67 68 our tet took 130 slides so with return mailer my parents got them or after we left nam searched at okinawa the asses rear echilons took anything of ours they wanted saying unautherized etc. since 2000 5 tips back to nam 2003 khe sanh town i was first to find mia remains ku buc hill sept 21 the 23rd natl pow/mia day.this was case 1000 jtf then billy hill now buried tx dec 17 his b day 2015 jerry elliott still mia there i was with his sister then donna,from arkansas mia jan 21 68 khe sanh seige started day before,jan 20 68, a third guy was mia after choppers left danny escaped evaded nva all night made it to khe sanh base next day.jan 22. he was with sept 21 2003 few weeks trying to find ku buc hill ,they did.this was a miracle.a 2nd mia lt recon team home missing april 5 68 i met the team by my fox hole beow carroll as 46 took the team to dong ha mtn explosions shooting saw ch 46 go back took team off pilot ron gatewood, never knew till 2004 they left lt kia, he is buired tx too as a result of my trips ,i am credited 2 mias remains home army and marine.i have photos documents etc.2000 north cam lo i showed viets 600 nva graves,2002 was in toui tre viet news and cnn hanoi the viets made me national hero...i smuggled bibles in 4 trips to some of 53 ethnic christian tribes.viets hate these most were montagnards.CHAPLAIN GEOF STEINER CUSHING MN 2/9 H CO 1RST PLT 1RST SQUAD 67 68 .CARROLL OUR REAR AREA.SEMPER FI.I HAVE PROOF OF ALL I TOLD HERE.

The chumps and pawns of Khe Sanh. I remember that battle on TV. I was dismayed how the "lowly" NVA could pin down an American force and how long it took for reinforcements to relieve them. I remember it taking months. I remember all the airpower the US had as an advantage. The Americans quite possibly would have been overrun and destroyed without that air superiority. Correct me if I'm wrong. But as I understand it the Americans declared "victory" (Lmao) and closed down the base. The enemy took it over?? And you might wonder why I resisted the Draft and Vietnam in 1970. It wasn't rocket science.
