That's usually the tragedy of being a human, isn't it? It's not only in entertainment. We always seem to be "missing out" on important things in life.... on things that are more fundamental, more resolute, deeper, farther away in space and in time.... I, for example, would have loved to have been born around now, so I could grow up witnessing the development and evolution of AI, Cosmology, and genetic engineering of the next 80 to 100 years. Having the ability to go into different and specific spots along our chromosomes, to repair specific gene mutations that result in most or all of the most debilitating & heinous genetic diseases & disorders... being able to tackle infectious diseases with vaccines as a result of the deployment of AI & super computation... cutting down, to a few months or so, the 5 to 10 or so years of the various different phases of clinical trials..... being able to put together the puzzles of how ghost particles like Higgs, quarks, neutrinos, etc. work, at the smallest... scale as well as... understanding how the LARGER STRUCTURES of the Cosmos work, from Black holes to these so-called dark matter and dark energy, etc... That's one of the tragedies in life: we're either born too late or too early, depending on what we fantasize as wanting to being a witness to...

Im a HANG and i consider her as my cousin. Years ago, Mee Hang and some other hmong from china came to Fresno new years. I didnt get a chance to meet her but ive met a HANG guy that came with Mee Hang. I'm in the real estate business and I know that in the US alone, there are currently at least 25 Hmong people own over million dollar home and commercial buildings. More than 15 own over million dollar company. More than 10 had been ELECTED for local and state officials. Over 200 individual became lawyers and doctors. Over 800 earned bachelors and Master degree. Several thousands are in colleges and by the year 2010, all of the numbers above could be double. Proud to be born Hmong.

As I remember we have 4 singers in China. They are Mee Hang, Song Zuying, Ayoudou and Wang li. Maybe, we have more sing in China, but these what I know. I so enjoy their songs and musics. Women gaoxing tamen hai women de nushi!

Mee Hang was a beautiful woman back in her glorious day, that's the 90's. even today at the age of 45yrs old, she still looks magnificent and in shape a good shape. how many Hmong-American women at the age 45 still look magnificent like Mee Hang? our Hmong-American women have too much of chicken wings and pizza and eggrolls. i love Mee Hang forever. I'm so proud that she is HMONG/MIAO. She is as pretty as that Chinese actress named Gong Li, if not more.

Although I was a little kid when they came to Fresno, I still have memory of it. One of my grandpa cousin, who is from China, (Hmoobsuab) used to visit us almost every year....unfortunately, he passed away in 1999. He was the only HmoobSuab person that I was able to conversed with and learned from. However, it would be nice to visit Yunnan and learn some history.
