So glad to finally be back in Khemia~ It's been so long and I can't wait to see how this continuation goes~ Scipio is such a good character~ His trauma is intense, and clearly getting worse, so I'm worried about how they're going to write him through it all~ I just hope, between his trauma and his dreams/visions, that he doesn't become one of those "unreliable narrators" from those YA Thriller books~ I genuinely can't hate a character more than when they're an unreliable narrator~ It's just very frustrating~ All the new sprite work and background cgs are so well done too~ I can tell they took their time and paid attention to detail~ The biggest one I noticed was Brunis' arm~ I'm still fascinated by Meera, and the implications of other beings aside from the monitors and the parents with the ability to communicate through visions like that~ You did a fantastic job for this video, especially since it's so long~ I appreciate it very much~ Now I hope you take some time to rest your voice~ Anyways, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well as always~ Cheers!~

Just wow to start with, didn't think this story was getting rework. I came across another comment about artwork change and yeah I agree with old style will be missed but seeing the whole cast in new art style looks awesome, especially my favorite character Scipio for what he's gone through in his life. I can say having PTSD is rough for not knowing what may trigger it at well at any point in one life is hard. I do hope for scipio will have better outcome in story for how he's sort of been put down by others for it just feels like to me. Still enjoying read blaidd.

I still find it interesting how this VN included the idea of the main character having the adjust to an alien sickness and then when he goes back home, he unwittingly spreads it to other humans. A lot of stories completely ignore exchanges like that so this helps make things more real for me. It is sad that it’s happening but still.

There could be a theory that Amicus lost weight due to heightened depression over Tibor’s (Marco’s) departure, meaning he could be eating a lot less than usual. And although it may not seem like it in some scenes: you know that his sadness goes a lot deeper than shown currently. I can almost guarantee that this will be a plot point in the future, maybe leading to a rash decision on his part that may lead to a “pain arc”.

Lovely to see how new and fresh the spirits look as well as the new full art "cutscenes". And to all the others crying and displeased with the arts, the characters personalities and aura are still the same just have to give it a chance. It has been a long time since the story got refurbished. Gotta keep up with how the artist has changed and improved in their skills as well as the story writers

Not an improvement. The characters are totally wrecked. The sprites are stiff, dull, and overall lower quality in art and design. Compare all the poses and silhouettes to the other builds, the difference is night and day.. Just look at the old and new brutus, it's genuinely shocking.. Even just his outfit has become incredibly boring and fails at the very basic principles of character design Haps had with his first designs.. And who on earth thinks it's a good idea to remove beloved details of the characters like Amicus' belly? His face shape is also totally different and lost all its appeal for me personally. Art is obviously subjective, but this is an actual case of an objective downgrade of designs measured by actual points of what makes a good character design.

@kalamis4872 if all the distance is simply cause you or others can't get as 'excited' when looking at character sprites then that's not a great basis for displeasure in the artists hard work

Yeah, this is the third generation of sprite models. Personally I prefer the secondary generation of sprites like in Interea since they match the CGs much better. But it's up to Haps.

@@kalamis4872As I told someone else, there could be a plot reason why Amicus has a smaller belly: maybe he’s depressed and hasn’t been eating as much - therefore; losing weight. On the other hand, I actually mess with the new style. Yes, it’s new, but it feels refreshing - reminding you that this is a different era in the storyline and not a rehash of the old. However; I do prefer the old style all around in the grand scheme.
