Frankly, I find your bass playing is outstanding. They had given the songs quite a life, especially Avernal Gate. It didn't feel like "a guitarist picked up the bass" and more of a real bassist feeling.

Love that the gear you chose for the bass is modern. Too many "doom", etc bands want to go all vintage with lo fi tones and gear. It gets pretty stale after a while. The album and final mix show that modern gear can sound great even in this style of music.
