It would’ve been nice to have the full version completely redone for KH. I can’t imagine it would’ve taken much effort.

i know for the beginning it was cut for cinematic purposes , you hear the theme play as you feel your imminent death through a cutscene , then as soon as you get control of sora the chorus starts (and you die) . as for the middle part being cut , i honestly have no clue

After that annoying fight against the ice golem and you thought it couldn't get any worse... He always caught me off guard with that quick step slash and back pedal.

Still, it would be great to have the entire song, because unless you are a master of KH1 combat, your first time battling Sephiroth successfully will involve listening this song to its entirety. In fact, just making it past the beginning parts would at least get it to the chorus, which itself is meta-motivating; you are playing for long enough that you got to the chorus of One-Winged Angel, and that’s impressive.

A few things I noticed in the intro. At 0:15, the original version removed the brass (?) in the background and only left the strings while at 0:28 it got added back but the strings were removed.

I would love to, and have wanted to for years. I even have the vocal and drum samples from the song. Someone would have to create a MIDI, or digital sheet music, that I could use to make it, and I've never found one yet. :/ One day I may commission one.
