1. What is fluency? Speaking smoothly without hesitating or stopping Specifically, Fluency can be separated into two types: physical and mental. Physical fluency means basically how your mouth and tongue cooperate to produce words precisely, While mental fluency is how your brain puts suitable words into sentences. 2. Get out of your comfort zone Just do it!!! Talk with others regularly, likely 2-3 hours a week. 3. Get used to Pressure Accept that you might feel nervous while communicating in English, just keep on repeating point 2. 4. Speed Reading a) find a text easy for you to read b) read it out and time yourself 5. Sing songs Read lyrics and sing it out, you can choose harder songs as you move on 6. Learn language in chunks Stop translating word by word!! Remember the language in big pieces

I think something wrong with girl#4. Her topic is important of education, but she raise up 2 points on her presentation (economic growth, & peace) and she range up 1st about economic growth, 2nd about peace. It seem not properly. Let think together, if in a country don't have peace, how they can make their economic growth. So i think 1st point that we should to mention about is peace.

Dave Da Man come on, it was just an example. I wanted to focus more on the side of the world that are in a worse situation than us. But I also agree with what U said, I should have mentioned Cambodia in it as well.

Nicky H sometimes when you pick up an example it has to be a make sense! I agree to dave daman. What can u do to help other country matter fact you cant provide any help to your own 3rd world country. Does it make sense to you??. Okay here the clear example! How can you give a beggar a dollar when you have nothing on you.

I Gusti Putu Gede Yogiswara Thanks. Actually, after the speech my brother who also came to see my speech said the exact same thing as u 2 said, n yeah I do agree on that. But it’s been 3 years now, this was since my freshmen year, I can’t go back to change anything I said back then. But here, I wanna hear ur opinion, do u think Cambodia is poor country because we don’t have anything or is it a poor country because the country is corrupted. Cambodia is a poor country for sure, but at least no one in this country that I ever heard of eat dirts.
@bubu.1985
@bubu.1985 6 жыл бұрын
Nicky H every country in the world blessed with its capable and its discapable . I am not saying your country is poor by what is your land provide. Your country is poor of human resource.poor in education so your country create those corupt people does it make sense?? And what happened if the country stuffed with those people?? Your turn to answer it.
@NisayHeng
@NisayHeng 6 жыл бұрын
I Gusti Putu Gede Yogiswar what would I do??Do you know what it’s like to be in a country where ur voice had been turned off? How sad it is to be told since a young age to not speak up for what you believe in cuz u might be sent to jail or get killed?? Currently Cambodia still have a lot of people from the Khmer Rouge (the time where all the intelligence people were killed and left us with the people who were uneducated). Some of these people now have roles in the government creating bad working cultures effecting the citizens life (in so many ways). Can a few people like me go out there and change these people??? No.. their mindsets are rooted. It’s like going out there trying to verbally communicate with a deaf person. They won’t hear you. People like me, in my generation can only wait patiently while building a new beautiful space for the new generation SILENTLY, at the same time while trying to survive ourselves! Things are a lot easier said than done cuz reality is dangerous.

I agree, even the ones who aren't educated can be street smart. It is all about observation and using your lexicon and how to adapt area and environment you live in. This doesn't mean the mind is not negative. If the person knows how to function themselves in way then it really isn't a problem at all.

@@NisayHeng Hi Nisay, I just got a notification for your question. I am sorry for very late response. It has been for two years. Frist, would you mind to edit my name to my "CURRENT NAME" please? Second, I just want to be clear what negative mind mean? because sometime words could be interpreted differently. "Negative Mind" means someone thinks almost everything is bad or something bad will be happened. Don't take it as personal. If you is the one who gave the speech, you did a great job. I just sent you a request in FB, please add me, I will try to explain you when I have more time. Thank you.
