I am from Assam and I speak Bodo, Assamese, Hindi and English. And I can understand some amount of Japanese as I have been learning it because of my interests. I also started learning Tai Ahom, but I simply lack vocabulary in this language.

Do you mind if I ask about the 'caste system'? I'm curious about its current situation in India. I don't have any agenda, I simply love learning new things. If this topic is sensitive or offends you, I apologize. Btw, your English is quite impressive. Pls feel free to share. 🙏
That's a very good analogy and is correct for my state of Tamilnadu. We (not me personally) tend to think English is a good language to communicate with the outside world whether that is other people in India or outside India. Among ourselves we like to use Tamil. Some people like me speak Tamil, Hindi and English (i also understand Thai language) but not all Tamil people think like me.

I have seen so much commonality in ancient India and todays Thailand. But always wondered why modern Thai are not aware of this commonality or have ignored it. I feel Indian are more aware of these commonality than Thai people. I also feel as India grows economically Thai will take a notice of these cultural similarities.

Does Hindi and Urdu (use in Pakistan) are very similar?
I am in support of monolingual India only. Too much diversity leads to conflicts. Monolingual in terms of religion and language.

" Paach saye rupiya " is not nepali language this Language is " Bhojpuri " and bhojpuri mosttly use in 2 states UP and Bihar btut. Bhojpuri is official language of Bihar in Indian rupees nepal is not the part of India nepal is separate country
You don't worry about what BJP is trying to do in India. No one is compelled to study Hindi here. We can learn whatever language we want to learn. It's not an easy job to govern such a vast country. Plus Thailand is not even a democracy, it still has a king when we are living in 21st century century. You guys still follow constitutional monarchy, when people are fighting for democratic rights in your country.
