When I took the road test I asked the examiner to let me parallel park first! Examiner asked me "why?". Told the examiner I prefer not going through the road test only to fail parallel parking. Passed the road test on the first try. 🙏

Sometimes you don't have to parallel park for road test unless they changed it to parallel park for every road test.

Shouldn’t be easy to pass. Driving is a privilege not a right. Parents thinking their kid is entitled is wrong

I failed my first test too. Then I was gonna fail the 2nd one but the tester asked me what highschool I grad from and I passed! lol. Zero road accidents 26 years later.

Passed mine in 72 the first time. Was no harder than the calif test. When you get your learners permit, drive and practice as much as you can. By the book !

Yeah, my 17-yr old daughter took the road test shortly after taking Drivers Education. She failed. My daughter felt so bad about it, that she felt stupid, and didn’t reschedule her test. Also, don’t forget she has to pay each time that she takes the test. Upsetting that Hawaii makes it harder for people to pass. It’s like they fail a person so that you keep paying the fee to bring in more money. Really. Geesh.

I passed the road test in New Jersey on the fourth attempt. I think they give you five attempts. Never give up!

I've personally had to retake the drivers road test because I had made a very unsafe decision. The second time, I was more careful. The test shouldn't necessarily be "easy". There are rules and expectations for a reason.

The examiners are strict about coming to a full stop behind the line at a stop sign. If they cannot see it they assume you stopped past the line. So be sure that when you come to a stop that you can see the white line. Also be sure to check if you are in a bicycle area and watch for bike riders. So annoying bike riders they shouldn't be allowed on the road with motorized vehicles. They are a nuisance and a road hazard. I bet some bicycle riders put that into law.

Some of those DMV ROAD TEST EMPLOYEES GIVE NEGATIVE IMPERSONAL ATTITUDE WHICH GIVES OFF AN AUTHORITATIVE VIBE DURING TEST.THEY FAIL MORE THEN PASS .

Nah, from what I observed from these testers, and its quite obvious... they are not consistent, each tester uses their own discretion . One might fail you for one thing and another passes you for the same thing! And, funny how every year the numbers are consistently 50%! Hmm... Brah, we are not that naive.
