On the first segment that part of Atascocita Rd is 35MPH. No one, absolutely no one, does 35. Minimum 50. But most do well over 60MPH. Houston has a speed problem. Everyone wants to do at minimum 20MPH above the posted speed limit on any given road. And school zones are non existent too.

Just make alcohol illegal. Texas doesn’t want to legalize marijuana, which doesn’t cause the the horrible deaths alcohol does but alcohol is perfectly legal? Make this make sense to me.

If you are going to drink, then have common sense to arrange for transportation home. Pick up the phone and get a Uber, Lyft, or take the public transportation(bus)(train)(subway) in your area. $50 for an Uber or Lyft is way more affordable then if you get behind the wheel and get in an accident or get stopped in a DUI checkpoint or kill someone. Think before you drink.

You know, Noah preached for 120 years for people to change their ways. Things didn't work out so well except for Noah and his family, because he listened to God and was saved. Fast forward to today and how long have we been preaching the alcohol/drugs and driving don't mix. Yet, like the ignorant people in Noah's day didn't heed God's warning to turn away from there heathen ways, they paid the price. No different than the ignorant people who still continue to drink and drive even after decades of preaching the dangers of impaired driving.
