Little league coaches are the reason for the demise of little league in most communities. They are narcissists that make the game about themselves and their abilities to coach, rather than to teach the kids to improve in the areas they need improvement in. Sure, kids want to win, but they also need to know what it's like to lose! I especially can't stand the coaches that make it all about their own son on the team, particularly in basketball, where their kid is encouraged to be a ball hog and forget that he has teammates to help him!

@@Alcapone3176 he didn’t say all cops are bad like this guy, but he implied that an unproportionally high number of people who would do something as bad as this are cops, which is very apparent in my experience as well. Of course there are plenty of outstanding people in every profession. Any common job can be attractive to a positive person, but there’s mainly one that stands out to the not so positive people. You can also say he’s implying that whoever is responsible for who gets hired as cops usually looks for people who are aggressive with little to no morals or boundaries. That makes a lot of sense to me. There’s a lot of power and leverage in the government and whoever has the most control over it probably wants enforcers who won’t have a moral objection to any orders.

@@HsbkxkxWith all your worldly experience who could argue that logic. If those aggressive tendencies come out during the hiring process or the initial training they are not hired or are summarily dismissed. The officer, if the internet is telling the truth, I bet has been on the job for many years and has allowed the world around him, which if you haven’t noticed is not a nice place, to effect him. The notion that departments look for these people is shameful and untrue. Does the military look for aggressive 18 year olds who have to follow orders? No but I’m sure your experience as a soldier would answer that question. Do you know who is more aggressive than cops in our society? Everyone else. Hence the reason we need law enforcement.

If it was unprovoked, yes. This however is mutual and not assault. However it’s still messed up. As far as the cops being called, these blue lined tyrants are who you’d be calling, so good luck with that.

Of course there's no surprise that he's a cop. Or any surprise that some a-hole parent from his team immediately came to his defense. Nor will there be any surprise when the police department he works for finds no evidence of wrong doing and simply drops this without any consequences.

Years ago when my younger brother played Little League a kid ran out of the baseline and cleated him to break up a double play. I confronted his coaches, one was very apologetic, but another came at me and got in my face. Turned out he was a state trooper that was known to be violent and aggressive. A few months after that he was arrested for murder for gunning down an unarmed suspect. He was tried, convicted and sent to prison.

I don't understand how so many people don't seem to get that. "He is a great dad, husband, always willing to help out friends." No shit. So are serial killers and genocidal dictators usually. Most people are seen as awesome and beloved by their inner circle. The true test is how you treat others outside the familiar circle. I don't care how well you treat me or how much you dote on your children or grandchildren, cool....as soon as I see you being rude to service workers or something I'm gonna see that as your TRUE character lurking beneath the curated surface.
