I live n amarillo. Been n fritch tx many times. This is breaking my heart. Fritch is s very small town N there is no forests n this part of texas. Just hilly vacant plains . My prayers go out to all .

As a Texan we tend to look on the bright side so here's some good from all this: Beef prices will drop. No need to mow. Less hay fever allergies. Less homeless meth heads to steal, rob and beg in the panhandle now.

Beef prices go up as no grass to feed them for a year. But yes statewide meth production took a major hit.

Most of this was either federal land (where the fire started, I am from the area, I know the place) blame Biden, or private land. Also it was empty grass land explain to me how you manage it? Mow a million acres regularly? This happens in grasslands, kind of like mudslides in California.
