It is way beyond time to pull our children out of schools.

These books are being pushed on KZbin kids and on Story time channels geared towards kids. I had no idea this was a thing. I created a kids book channel for parents that has age appropriate kids books that are social and political agenda free.

ANY TALK RELATED TO SE×UALITY needs to be left up to the minor childs parents!!!!!! What the f'k is even going on???? This is sick 🤮 I just bought a book for my daughter that is age appropriate about the female body and that is OUR choice as parents, this should never be left up to the schools. NEVER.

@@katieann9026 Fair point. But isn’t that akin to parents allowing their kids to drink alcohol at home so that they don’t go out drinking with their equally immature buddies and get into trouble? The point is they don’t want it- not that they want it done by more mature people.
@katieann90263 жыл бұрын
@@halcyon524 Alcohol is not a fundamental human need that we are instinctually driven towards. Also, parents don't generally throw a tantrum when responsible alcohol consumption is taught.

@@katieann9026 The debate isn’t about the legitimacy of the content- unless you insist on it. It’s a matter of choice. You’re (proverbially) open minded regarding what is taught, yet you struggle with people’s freedom to choose not to introduce complex ideas to their young ones. I encourage parents to do it, at home, at some point.

Millions of people reached out to save Jaymes Younger. They gave James younger to a woman that wasn’t even related to the child just to conduct experiments on him. We live in a sick society.

Glad parents stepped in. As for the young author’s comment, a parent decides the maturity of their’ child and not the author. 🙄

Thank you Texas, yet again, conservatives are taking a stand again the extremities of liberalism. If it were the 60's-70's I'd be pro liberal. Today I am pro conservative, this cancel culture and free spirit philosophy with no consequences has gone on long enough, and has become too far out of control. At least this community is taking the proper and necessary steps to safeguard their children, and garner their responsibility to influence/raise their children with good standards. Where does the line stops?

1st of all people are going to argue freedom of speech These books are protected under the 1st amendment. Now if you have a problem with these books that's fine and you have the right to protest. Now this opens the door on other books on homosexuality should they be in school or books about religion or books on the evolution of man. So remember these books are protected under the 1st amendment and this is a public school not a private school.

no one is saying they cant make or publish the books, they just cant expose that material to underage children. Things concerning politics, sexuality, religious topics or otherwise are solely at the discretion of the parent, when it comes to their childrens exposure to it. Schools and in a broader context government in general, have no authority to tell a parent their child must learn this topic. The guardian of the child makes all those decisions bar none, if you believe this to be wrong id say its pretty obvious youre brainwashed by mass media.
